I thought this would go well in Dollar Den, but we dont have to only talk about the money...
I'm particularly drawn to those charts with the media groups. Its fascinating to think about who controls information, directing the evolution of our knowledge...





A couple of different 'angles' in regard to commentary. First, as the top graphic clearly shows, 10 huge multinational corporations ... all beholden to investors / stockholders ... control the vast majority of total processed food production. What the top graphic doesn't show is that about 10 huge multinational corporations also control the vast majority 'commodity' foods production via essential 'inputs' i.e. Monsanto ( seeds ), Mosaic ( fertilizer), etc. And while many of these corporation, and subsidiary corporation, names are thought of as American, in fact the investors / stockholders are global.
Along similar lines, while the second chart shows the four major international banks with US names, there are in fact about 10 huge multinational banks which control the vast majority of the world's finance. Same is true with about 10 huge multinational media conglomerates which control the vast majority of the world's news, interpretation, and commentary. See . And you didn't mention that about 10 huge multinational corporations also control the vast majority of the world's oil production.
If you want to entertain a really scary thought, consider the fact that the CEO's of these companies, along with the top politicians from major countries, along with top figures from prominent universities, meet once a year behind 'heavy security' closed doors to conduct 'secret' discussions ... see ( partial ) list of 2014 attendees at
Obviously, the linked website which prepared the concise list of Bilderberg 2014 attendees is 'less than objective'.
