Default To get new implants or not? If yes, where is the best in LONDON, UK?

I had my BA done in January 2000...so soon 15 years ago...! I have been told by different doctors a few times not to worry because they feel just fine and I should only worry if I see change in size. I called the surgeon who did them a year or two ago and they told me these implants can last 20-30+ years and that I didn't have to worry. I am however starting to think that I am probably better off getting new ones quite soon, its now or later so better now. Mine are actually not even that big so I would also like to get bigger ones, I am not dancing anymore but I might try again with some new assets just to see You ladies who have had implants for a longer time, how long have you gone before changing? What do you think about my situation? Should I feel stressed?

Also, if anyone knows any great surgeons in London any recommendation would be appreciated! A few girls recommended MYA to me and I have a consultation with next week.

    THANK YOU!

My boobs are 12 and i'm just looking into getting an upgrade too. I suspect i have some mild capsular contraction developing too so i have an appointment next week to see my original surgeon who operated on me 12 years ago. i tracked him down especially and he consults in London and Manchester so i will use him again as he did such a great job first time round. If you're interested his name is Andrea Marando.

Melonie recommended someone in the UK, I can't remember the name. She said he was the leading guy in BAs... maybe ask her.

Can I ask why you're set on getting them done here?

I just thought it would be easier to get them done close to home, not having to pay for cost of travel and not having to travel with the pain (I did that last time and it was awful). I have looked a bit at the surgeon you recommended in Belgium, it seems great but I would rather not have to travel. I am thinking there must be amazing local surgeons too. What made you chose this clinic, is it because of the price or just because you heard and saw great things?

Oh dear, I just had a look at the clinic where I had mine done back in 2000 and the price to change them there is only £2400! (Since I am already a patient of theirs.) And to be honest mine are amazing, I have had som many compliments over the years of how natural they look...so why go elsewhere when I can also save over £2000?! OK, I guess I will be traveling after all....THANK you Audrey for opening my eyes xxx

It's not about cost, honestly I wouldn't get a shitty boob job done because it was cheap, I would just end up spending more in the long term because I would have to get them re-done.

I picked the clinic because I honestly haven't seen ONE decent boob job done in the UK, every girl I've spoken to has either gotten them done in the USA or Europe. The UK ones just look super over the top and fake to me. Yes, you have to spend on travel, but I would rather go through the pain or add travel expenses and have my boobs look amazing. The surgeon I picked has been recommended to me over and over again.

I understand. I didn't think you picked him just for price, I was more wondering if price has something to do with your choice. I have seen some nice ones done here in the UK but it's very expensive here so I could just see why someone would chose to travel. Anyways, thank you for the advice!

I called my original clinic in Sweden today and the offer of breast implant change for their own patients were apparently only valid within 5 years...so I guess I will not be going back there because of a cheaper price. I might just go there anyway because I was very happy with them and to do research gives me a headache! I have been searching online and its just too many options and too much information for me.
