Yes dear. As you do not know anything about me as well. I think that should go without saying.

Giving up alcohol is huge and if you've been able to do that in this industry you are a step ahead of me and I commend you!

As far as "not expecting anything" I personally don't believe in that. I love Tim Ferris and as he suggests, set high expectations. We may not reach them in the night but it gives us a vision of what to work hard towards. We aren't just strippers, we can be succesful business women in this crazy industry. I know we all have our own method that feels right for us... But even the idea of Law of Attraction suggests that we envision specific things, like for instance; "Friday I will make $1000" or whatever (just an example here)

I'm happy you are making money.
As my intentions, summer isn't as bad as we all thought it'd be.
Anyway, more of my 2 cents worth.

So if I envision wiping my ass with Benjamins and Christian Bale eating my pussy will it happen?

Both ways can work together. It helps to keep thinking positively and like The Secret keep telling yourself what you want in life and what you expect to achieve (clearly the Law of Attraction thread proves it benefits a lot of girls). But, even if you only make $150 in a 5 hour shift just be grateful you made $30/hr because not everyone can say that. Hell even if you make 70$ in a 5 hour shift that's still better than minimum wage! And I would think telling yourself you will bank at work tonight is more likely to happen than Christian Bale going down on you, lol

Lol. Christian Bale almost went into a club I use to work at, but the stupid manager didn't let him in bc he didn't want to remove his baseball cap.

Hey, you may not hook up/meet Mr. Bale himself, but there is a possibility that you can meet a look a like. That happened to me when I went through my Ryan Gosling obsession stage. Lol.

I was worried my club would be dead but I made $960 last night which is above my average. Haven't been in in two months and I heard summers are so bad so I thought I wasn't missing anything. Hopefully it's good this week too. I'm in Texas btw.

I for one was stoked to open this thread up and see that you are doing well in the summer! And doubly so because moving to Portland is my 5 year plan, I'm glad it's possible to do well there.

My club has been slow, but not as slow as last year when we had a truly wretched August. Way less girls have been working than usual, so that helps.

I don't get why people on this site worship the law of attraction like its the end all be all of stripping/life. I get that positivity is great and I know it. I don't like to envision money specifically. I envision the things I will acquire/accomplish by using money as a tool to get there. I don't think of a number specifically I just know that I will go in and make it worth it and enjoy myself while there.
I can't be a party animal because I have a young child and other responsibilities, so I see my job as an opportunity to also have fun while making money. I think this attracts people to me because I don't come off as a total gold digger who looks miserable, and people are more comfortable to spend and be generous with someone who seems genuine and having fun as well. I have found that a lot of men (at least the ones with more money, i.e. older and refined) will spend more time/money with you if they see/think you're enjoying their company as much as they enjoy yours.

I have been a bit nervous about summer here in SoFlo. Last year August and September were the absolute worst months for us. Then season (dec-May) was a disappointment. Hopefully the lack of cash flow during season will even out into summer? So far so good but August has just begun so we will see. I am honestly happy going to work and coming home with at least 500 every shift. Of course I'd love to make more but theres only so much my body can do and I am grateful for it. I am working on maximizing my profits by making small changes to my hustle but its a process. I know when it is season these 500-700 dollar nights will be 1000-2000 dollar nights and I am looking forward to that!

If a club is dead and you're envisioning this $1000 materializing from somewhere it's pretty much the same delusion that someone stranded in the desert sees when they are dying of thirst and think they see water. There is a fine line between optimism and delusion.

You never know. Sometimes you could get the random guy who hands you money. That happened to my friend last weekend a guy was leaving and handed her the rest of her money so she ended up with $1200 that night! Or a random late rush. I think being positive can only benefit you as long as you don't take it too seriously and end up crying at the end of the night because you didn't get exactly what you "envisioned" lol

I'm pragmatic. If I see the place is dead I know my tits aren't going to save me. I pack it up and cut my losses.

I never leave early. Only because I can't but this works for me. The last hour before closing is an easy $100. Why? Because most girls have left, the rest are sitting in the DR waiting to leave or whatever they do, and the ones on the floor are probably drunk lol I run around murking wallets the last hour. I don't spend anytime with customs I make it clear we are about to close and it's now or never.
