    Default Mini TT

The skin on my stomach probably only bothers me but it bothers me SO badly that I want a tummy tuck. I hate the fact that I am so close to having the body that I want except the skin on my belly is so wrinkly and loose. I've tried everything I can, cocoa butter, vitamin E, bio oil, mederma, plus good diet and exercise and I still haven't gotten the look that I want. I've been looking at a lot of TT pictures online and I feel like a good portion of the results look unnatural and I have also heard the recovery is intense. Does anyone have any advice, information, or insight?

Agreed that any tummy tuck is going to produce scars ... so the question is what type of specific incision is needed in your case and how visible the scars in that location are likely to be. Many prefer to locate the incision at the belly button, but that also risks a very 'unnatural' look if the belly button is actually relocated or if the belly button 'stretches' thus allowing the formerly hidden incision to become visible at the periphery of the belly button. Beyond that there are risks of asymmetry, bunching of skin along the incision, etc.

And indeed recovery from a tummy tuck can be a real 'bitch' ... given that the extent of body tissue disruption is much higher than for a BA. Having lipo at the same time only adds to the body tissue disruption.

That's what I was noticing from a lot of before and after pictures. I almost feel like the scarring would not be worth the risk. I saw an incision that was a bit above the pubic bone, similar to a c-section incision and those looked the most natural but I believe what I didn't like was the way the belly button looked very oddly shaped and positioned on the belly. I did not realize that, that is the reason recovery was so terrible. I know I won't need any lipo since it's just the skin. My stomach is very flat, I just have a bit of loose skin from pregnancy and childbirth.

Look into titan laser. Someone here years ago, did it and loved the results.

I read about that on real self and I know it's not recommended because it does absolutely nothing for some people.
