I usually break up the amount of hours I do in a day by doing 2 hour shifts and then taking a break for an hour or two. I've been doing that because it seems by the two hour mark, I start getting annoyed by people or get spaced out from looking at the computer screen or get disheartened by slow traffic.
Problem is that once I go on a break, my motivation for going back on starts to dwindle and sometimes I just don't do it.
I see some women that seem to do 8 hour shifts straight and always seem to be energetic. Granted, they always have people in their room, so there's always conversation going on. Whereas my room can have no one in it for awhile and I slowly slip in to a catatonic stupor
At times I think I'd like to do my hours in a row so when they're done and over with, I don't have to be bothered with it again for the rest of the day.
Just curious if you ladies break up your shift or do the long haul and why you choose to do it that way![]()
