Default things to do to lower stress level?

So my stress level has been through the roof the past month-- I've been focusing on setting up my escorting business and being the perfectionist that I am, I've been obsessive and extremely hard on myself for every little thing. I'm still getting used to the up and downs and flakiness of clients.

What do you guys do to lower you stress levels? I don't think I realized today how stressed out I have been, I am literally clenching the muscles in my feet just as I'm sitting going through my earnings/appointment book for the week....

I've been getting a massage at least once or twice a week, but I feel like I need some other outlet for stress....

You could start offering service as a professional "ball buster" kicking a guy in the nuts repeatedly is a great way to get the tension out!

For me. I like yoga, swimming, working out HARD if I'm really stressed. Retail therapy works wonders as well. Long lush bubble baths help me as well.
So... Shop then yoga then bust your ass in the gym until you can't move. Then go for a massage and spend the rest of the evening getting drunk and wrinkly in the tub! can't think of a better day.

    Now that's thinking green!

I go to the gym and lift like crazy. I beat the cardio machines to hell. I play with my throwing knives at home. I play with my snakes and crocodile.

Manicures! I love getting my nails and feet done. Its a splurge but I love reading the magazines and relaxing.

Spending time outside going to the park or the beach works wonders. And I read loads of fun books.

Meditation is good. Try the Stop Breathe Think app for your phone or try Chi Gong or Tai Chi.

I like being outside if the weather's decent, walking in parks/nature centers if possible..there's some baby duckies by me, I visit them every day. There's a pet store w/a mini farm attched to it w/goats, chickens, & llamas. Animals are soo calming. I also love reading fashion mags, my library has a cool, big outdoor patio which's a really great place to chill.
I also belong to an artist group we draw twice a week, haven't made out there in a while.

I had a guy pay me £240 to "trample" over him in my stilettos and lick the bottom of my feet, it definitely did release some tension! lol. I wish I could be a professional dom but I don't have the balls for it.

Thanks for the advice ladies, retail therapy is normally my outlet but I'm trying to focus on saving x

exercise more. get involved in a class like yoga, kickboxing, or spinning so that way its always on your schedule and you dont accidentally skip 2 weeks and then stress out even more about how you havent been to the gym.

Do you have any dogs? Can you adopt one in your current living situation? Playing with (or just cuddling with) my fur-family always helps to distract me from everything that's stressing me out.

Also, try making yourself learn a new skill that has nothing to do with work, just to give your brain something else to do. Try taking a course on Coursera, learning a new language on Duolingo, fixing up an old bike or other machine, or just reading several books on a topic you know nothing about.

^^If a dog isn't an option but you think a pet would help you destress, consider getting a chinchilla! They're quiet, odorless, and just require an hour or two out of the cage a day. They have different personalities and some can be shy, but they're all very smart and most are affectionate once they bond with you. Mine gives me little kisses, loves to be scratched behind the ears, and is a total delight to watch jump around. She can be bossy/bratty but I kind of love her more for it. She also knows her name and can even do a couple tricks (I've been lazy about training her lately though). They live almost as long as dogs too. Mine has made such a difference in my stress levels and quality of life. Make sure to adopt one not just for ethical reasons but because you'll have a better idea of their personality. /chinchilla ad.

I would kill for a kitty-- I love cats and had to leave my two babies behind in Cali-- but finding a pet-friendly apartment is super difficult in London, I might think about getting something that can stay in a cage tho cause I really do miss having a pet.

i agree with scarlet kitten about orgasms..if i've gone just a week without one my tension levels will reach their breaking point. and as soon as i've had a good one i almost get giddy and lightheaded, its like smoking a blunt! having regular orgasms is SO good for your mind and body.

meditation for at least 20 minutes a day. seriously. my boss did it one day with a bunch of other employees before we got into work, and it was like he was a different person.. he's usually the angriest prick you ever met but they said they all felt high and so relaxed.

In my experience it's easy enough to hide my chinchilla and corn snake from landlords

^the thing is my landlord come in to the flat once a week because they collect my rent in cash every Friday. So there's really no way for me to hide anything from them. I offered my landlord a HUGE pet deposit ($600) and she hasn't gotten back to me. I really don't understand how you could say no to that much of a despot for a little kitten???? Especially considering that flat is not exactly in tip top shape anyway.

I'm looking for a new place in September so I'm hoping that they will let me have a cat, but it just seems like most places won't allow pets at all here. It would be easier to hide it in another place though where the landlord isn't come in and out, the guy I'm seeing right now says he's known people that just lied and had dogs and cats in their flats the whole time they were there.

I've been breaking out the pole and trying to learn one new thing every few days now. It feels amazing and now that I'm past the point of being unbearably sore the day after, I do it every day. Other than that I watch funny tv shows, eat, occasionally take a day off from work and go to a bar with my guy. Ohh I play bubblexplode on my iphone, so fun. Go outside on a nice day and smoke. Gonna go do that right now actually..

I'll go on GTA San Andreas and stay on the beach stabbing people and slitting their throats. Very therapeutic.
