I found a useful marketing and sales thread on Reddit's front page: link.
It has a bunch of helpful ideas such as one person saying that convincing someone to buy is often difficult, so you need to get their brain focused between two offers vs "to buy or not to buy". For example, focus between two dance offers (table vs champagne or even between different champagne/VIP areas and so on) for the customer rather than the single offer of a dance. It'll get their brains focused on the idea that they are already buying something, so now the choice is which is the deal they want. It also helps to eliminate fear of buying (Is this worth spending money on? for example) because they still have choices and pick the one that they feel would have the most reward/value.
