Default Balancing Camming and Other Work

Hi ladies, I've combed and would like some input. How do you guys balance cam and non adult work? To be honest, I haven't been on in forever. I do a lot of freelance work and while the hourly varies, as long as there is work there I know I will get paid. However, this is not enough to make ends meet. It is hard for me to cam when I don't know if I will make goal in 2 hours or in 8, if at all when I know I have paying work. At the same time, I know that camming can be a lot more lucrative. I know the importance of having a backup just in case camming is just not working out for a moment, but what do you do when the other is not working out for your benefit? Between children and other obligations thrown in the mix, I find that my disorganization is hurting any and all earnings significantly. I just find both adult and non adult work overwhelming at the moment. How do you guys manage to balance everything? I know that scheduling set hours is really emphasized for long term success, but that is not always possible for me.

Seriously, it's all about a schedule. Even if you have to change it weekly. If you know you have to leave the house, try to fit as many activities as possible. Groceries, bank, pharmacy, nails, all one long trip. Write down all vanilla work that you need to do, your family activities, and fill in the significant blank spots with camming. Stick to your schedule as much as possible. You may have low earning shifts until you get used to forcing yourself though the slow times. You may find that your schedule is more steady than you thought. It will bring a kind of structure. And make sure to reward yourself for sticking to it or coming out ahead by 10 minutes.

You are so right! I am just going to have to bite the bullet and get on board with scheduling. I hate that I am so disorganized, that is the hardest part of anything for me. I think I will have to just sit down on a Sunday of each week and pencil everything in. Otherwise, it is going to be the same old thing. Common sense, I know, but sometimes it helps to hear it from someone else! Thank you

I have the same problem so I know where you're coming from. I would get discouraged not making money and stop working certain days/times. I started making better money after getting through the first few weeks of forcing myself to work. I knew I was going to be working no matter what so it pushed me to make the most of my time. It could actually be possible to do some of your freelancing while you're sitting in free chat. If you do writing and you can mutli task you can type stuff while trying to get guys into private. Or do promoting, maybe edit clips if your system can handle it. Film random things you're doing throughout the day to have different clips and utilize the things you are doing anyhow. Give it time and you'll have a routine in no time.

Things are a bit different in terms of balance for me because i work a vanilla 9 to 5 and no kids, but i schedule each week. And don't shit on yourself if you don't stick to your schedule perfectly. Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans and all. Take advantage of your network, too. I don't know if you have a partner, but can they or the kids Dad watch them for a bit? Have you got a friend where you could take their kids for 3 hours on Saturday and they'll take yours for 3 hours on Tuesday or something? And with other obligations, figure out how much you can dedicate to each and let the people involved know. Saying no is a really powerful thing, and it stops all the little extra requests from caving in the rest of your life.

Saying no is a huge thing for me! My youngest starts preschool tomorrow so I am going to see if daytime hours will work well for me. MFC was really the only site I ever done early morning/afternoon hours and I actually fared well with that, but not so much the other sites.

I'm glad that this post was made! I just started a new job going on three weeks ago. The problem was that I also had to work out my two weeks notice with the pharmacy I was working in WHILE training and getting all kinds of hours at the new job, so that left no time for camming at all. Luckily, I'm done working out that two weeks notice and my new job is starting to give me consistent hours/days off, so on my days off (Starting this week, actually) I'll FINALLY be able to get some camming done. I've missed it so much haha!

What I do is I find that even just one hour of down time is good. I used to think that I needed at least 4-6 hours to be able to find the time to cam when I first started, but now, if I have the house to myself for an hour or two, I will just speed through my makeup and get on cam even if it is only for 70 minutes. So say I have that extra hour 4 days every week?. That is 4 extra hours a week on cam, which could be an extra $240 a week, going by $60 an hour. See how that adds up? That is an extra 1000 a month. That extra hour or two here and there really DOES count!
