    Default Stretch marks/scars

Any good products for taking care of stretch marks and/or scars?

There's a really informative thread called 'THE LIST- Body Business Links!' stickied at the top of Body Business. It's got a bunch of links for make up to cover scars and stretch marks. There's also tons of threads on caring for both in that section!

Some of the prods. for cellulite are also supposed to be good for stretch marks. I've been looking on skinstore.com skincarerx.com. There's a product on one of those, called Mio, I think it has it's own site, mioskincare.com? Read some great reviews about it. I actually do have a few stretch marks on my thighs not so noticeable, but my cellulite ugh.

Heya - total newb/lurker on the forum, but thought I'd post on this thread as I've literally spent 3 hours today alone looking at things to help with stretch marks!

From all the stuff I've tried & researched, what works best for me is a combination of things: dry skin brush/exfoliating over stretch marky patches every day & rubbing in vitamin E oil/bio oil. Cocoa butter seems to be recommended everywhere, but I've never had any success with it other than it making my skin lovely & soft!

Also, depending how brave you wanna be, you can use a dermaroller on stretch marks & scars, and they're REALLY meant to help as they force the skin to regenerate faster...but that's because you're poking lots of holes in your skin - so not for the faint hearted! haha.

Hey, welcome Lady S! I'm researching products for this too! I also think scars are different - they need a different type of product.

Shea butter does wonders, too. Also, masking them with a sunless tan does wonders. I am covered with stretch marks (I had a really quick growth spur during puberty and of course, pregnancy), but for shootings I cover them with a sunless tan until they blend with my skin: my skin hue gives the appearance of "healed" stretch marks. However, the only "faded" stretch marks I have are the ones in my lower glutes and lower abdomen. My upper thighs still have some very noticeable stretch marks, for that's where most of my pregnancy weight went.
