    Default Denver vs. Albuquerque

What is it like dancing in Denver or Albuquerque? What are the pros and cons to each?

There are a lot of reviews for clubs on both cities in Club Reviews and Club Chat, so check some of those out. Pros and cons can be really subjective, so read what sounds applicable to you and try out both if you can!

Albuquerque has no upscale clubs- four places total- hardly any business, and is in one of the poorest states in the country- Denver should have a lot more variety, was considering a trip up there myself

Albuquerque was my home for many years before I moved to PA. If you are white or Asian you can thrive here. Spanish girls are as thick as fleas on a dog's belly. Knockouts was my home club for a long time and I still come back every year. I took a trip with Lady Ambition in 2011 and no joke..she had a damn good amount of money on a Monday shift. (I know because I was helping her uncrumple mangled bills).

Also are you under 21? If you are you're fucked. You're going to have to work at the "stripper kindergarten" aka Fantasy World or go north to Santa Fe to work at Cheeks.

Denver seems to be more lucrative, hence more picky. I've never worked there but my understanding is my size 3 frame is considered "healthy" over there.

@tempest666, damn girl, how many places have you been? Maybe you're like Tinker Bell and only exist in that space between waking and dreaming. Could I call you up with a snow globe? Anyways, I digress.

I'm over 21 and Asian and not a size 3. If I go there could I say I heard about it from you?

One thing: KO's has $5 dances. I never did them unless absolutely forced to. I used to see some girls doing way too much for that amount of money. There's also club 203 in Moriarty. It's about 35 mins west of Albuquerque.

Hahah, yeah- I laugh at guys when they ask for one. Usually I end up charging double ($20 for the $10 dances, $50 per $25 VIP) during after hours because I have a line of people waiting for dances. TD's is slow right now but I was thinking of peeking in when they pick up and seeing if I could start breaking a grand in an evening- I assume their customers have more cash available than the broke drunkies who stumbles in from downtown because we don't have a cover and the drinks cost $2.50.

TD's is sooo slow right now. So painfully slow. I would never in one million years tell anyone to come to new mexico for dancing. I have worked in many states and have never earned as little as I do now. This is probably partly due to my own burnout but still. I'm only here because my bf got a scholarship for school but otherwise I can't stand it. Denver was my favorite place I made great money there. Everyone says you have to be so thin to get work there but I honestly don't think that's true. Guys in the clubs there are far more willing to part with large amounts of $, whereas in NM it's like pulling teeth to get 100 dollars. Denver all the way seriously.

Balloon fiesta might be decent. I might come home for a visit then.

A lot of Denver clubs have been pairing down their less-than-desirable dancers lately so it can be harder to get hired... however a HUGE pro is that there are clubs that allow you to set your own dance prices... and I have yet to find a dance price high enough for a customer to complain.

Does anyone know if you still have to wear latex or pasties at the topless clubs in Alb? Also, is TD's North the only club with a champagne room? And is it still $300 for a half hour?

A girl I work with was telling me about the area, but she hadn't danced there recently.

You do still have to wear latex, the house Mom lady sells it but a lot of girls just use fabric paint or whatever from micheals. It's not always enforced but girls were getting tickets for not wearing it when I was working there in 2015. Td's Eubank has a champagne room also I think. I definitely liked td's north the best. As far as I remember champagne room is 275 for half hour.

Thanks for responding! Why did you like the TD's North the best? And also besides the latex, are there any other dress codes? Also do you know if they're travel friendly? Like can you show up and get hired and start working the same night? Thanks! Also do you need to know at least some spanish to ask for dances?

I just liked the customers there better and I think the club is a little nicer. No dress code most girls just wear thong bikinis. They are travel friendly although I'm not sure the money is really worth a trip from very far. Should be able to work the same day. Knowing Spanish isn't necessary but might be helpful I didn't know much at all and I did just fine. Good luck!

North is definitely the best club in the area. Knockouts just has a special place in my heart.

Thanks! Do you happen to know the contact level there? And is it an extras club? I know how men like to exaggerate, but the first review of this club on tuscl.net is from a guy claiming he got a blowjob in the $25 dance section
