    Default interesting day

so I took a big step and went to a pole dancing class today I still figure that learning some techniues would be fun and good way to build up some self confidenece for myself. I was not able to make it for the class.

my day time work place had me work....a lil late to catch us up on a lunch time rush.

but I did speak with the girl in charge and I am going to be putting some money from my paychecks aside and going to be taking private lessons.

its kind of funny cause another co worker I work with at my hmm day job....

told me she had danced for a local club here in town and was considering getting back into doing it....so now I am thinking of hanging out with her more and seeing if she could teach me...some stuff and see if we could have any luck scoring jobs at a club that way.

lol it was a long day pulling two shifts at the day job but it was also fun...

pole classes are fun, but reading through hustle hut would be a MUCH more profitable use of your time than any pole class you take as a newbie..you will still look new up there no matter how many classes you take, i'd say just go for it and learn on the job!

^+1. Unless you're in an urban or otherwise stage-centric club, pole tricks are not even remotely going to be your moneymaker. Selling dances/VIP/CR is where the money is, and simone is right on the money that reading Hustle Hut is a far better way to spend your time.

Save your money and just go to the club right now. You don't need luck to land a job as a stripper -- it's honestly as simple as showing up and asking if they're hiring. Clubs are always hiring and you will likely be able to start that night, if not later in the week. You don't need an "in" or pole tricks or anything other than an outfit and some shoes.

Besides, you can pick up pole tricks as you work from the other girls, or at least put money you earn from dancing towards classes if you still want to learn for yourself.

Agree with the others. Pole dancing is hella fun (I love it) but most customers do not care that much about it. When I started off dancing I could barely even walk in the stripper shoes, much less do a pole trick. The more experienced dancers that enjoy pole work would teach me on slow days and you can pick it up pretty quickly. It's fun, but there are plenty of top dancers that don't do anything on the pole. One of the top earners in my old club didn't do a single pole trick, but she was gorgeous, blonde and had big (nice) fake boobs. All she had to do was stand on stage, take her top off and her tip rail would be full. You're better off spending your $ on a good boob job than pole lessons...unfortunately.
