Default What do you do with the clips that don't sell?

I recently got into camming again, and making clips. In both respects, I'm having fun, and seeing a promising increase in profits.

I have a Clips4Sale store that I started in 2012. I haven't updated it in years, and only saw people occasionally buying some of my clips. I ran a sales report and realized that, in the years since I made them, almost half of them never sold. I deleted all of those, and realized that the customers know what they want--the remaining active clips have better content, and put me in a more attractive light than the ones that never sold.

I have two questions. What would you ladies do with clips that never sell? Try them on a different site and see if they can turn a profit? Or never use them?

Question 2: I'm putting up new clips every day. How long should I wait before realizing that they'll never sell, and deleting them from my store?

I haven't got oodles of experience with this as yet but I would say keep them all. you never know who will find your stuff and want to buy it. if you get rid of it they can't can they! If you really wanted to separate the wheat from the chaff (in your opinion) you could always open separate stores and have the different clips in each.

I have just begin to reinvest my time in a store i opened 3 years ago. Looking back through my sales reports do you know what? I've sold stuff every single month since i opened, even though i barely updated (like once every couple of months at most!). And all my new clips are full 1080p HD quality, over 10 mins long, with detailed plots etc, but those old crappy webcam clips STILL sell even now!

    Keep em, keep em all

I'm currently making a lot of fucking content for a website, and stuff. So I have a lot of clips where my face isn't right, or the lawn guy comes to mow the grass.

I use those for my gold show incentives. I heavily advertise amateur.

Keep them! Maybe they are just in the wrong category or you don't have enough to really be seen.

Lets say they are in a category that gets updated often. your clips is off the front page and isn't so likely to be seen. Maybe try a few more in that category. Even if that doesn't work I'd still keep them. You never know when someone might stumble across your studio .

Yah I would keep them... I sold 4 clips today that I haven't sold in a LOOOOOONG time. Never know when someone will randomly decide to buy them.

I deleted a bunch of old clips that weren't selling and now I totally regret it!

Listen to the girls who tell you to keep them. I wish I did. LOL!

The only clips I have that never sold are the 1s that aren't uploaded yet. Some took a little more time than others but they all sell. Certain ones are top sellers, I wouldn't delete any, you never know who is looking for exactly what you have. The only videos I ever removed were 1s that had something I didn't want customers to see; flaw in the video/hair in front of camera/easily recognizable background etc etc. Just take what you have learned about the best selling videos and apply that to the new ones you make. Customers that are fans like to see how you evolve

Maybe label them as "Bargain Bin" with really dirty keywords and wording and see what they do. You could even highlight the gif or put "Bargain Bin" in bright colors so the guys notice them right away. Also, if you're on niteflirt you can sell them as a compilation or bundle in a goodie bag.
