Default Manycam charges now to remove their watermark?

I downloaded the new manycam version and it told me that you know how to pay to remove the watermark.

Am I missing something? Did Manycam go from a free program to a paid one when I wasn't looking?

Yeah, they added that with the new update. That's why I refuse to update mine now.

Thanks everyone! Look like it is back to the free Splitcam program for me.

Webcammax has been giving me too many sound issues.

I had to downgrade too, i could not get wide screen picture on manycam and/ or encoder, the picture looked normal resolution with black lines on the sides, no matter what i tried i could not get it to work so i downgraded. With splitcam software for example the picture looks normal when i open the encoder untill i start streaming, then it changes into a horrible redish tone, cant fix that either.
A while ago i asked in another tread about that other software, was called webcamsplitter or so?! cant find the post, is it free? I tried to download it but my virus killer said it's risky to take it -> "possible harmful application" or so. I remember Sarah Time posted about it & u JAC said u happy to get that information, did u JAC use it? Wanna share pls? Ty.
I can work with manycam on SM in wide screen but on all the other sites i use/used it i get the wide screen picture with black bands on top/bottom as they not supporting wide screen (ImLive, Ifriends, some other sites).
Is tricky, SM wants wide screen but other sites stay with regular resolutions, unless the sites have the option to use the external adobe encoder there is no way (for me here) to use a cam splitter and get the right resolution/ quality for each site.
Maybe u have solution ladies? Ty!

Sadly I haven't tried it yet. I haven't been able to put enough aside for the very soft software yet. I've been drowning under my bills. :/

I have verysoft webcamsplitter, and I really like it. It costs $20, but it works well for me, and split camming brings me more $$, so I feel it was money well spent.

The only problems I've had with it were: 1) It's a very simple program with no bells, whistles, or automatic stuff, so you might have to spend some time learning what all the settings are, what they do, and how you want them set. Once you're set up, everything stays where you left it, though. 2) This is pretty minor, but I wish you could choose your own font when you watermark your feed. 3) If you try to broadcast with a resolution of 1080 (which is unnecessary, and not encouraged anyway), the picture tends to jump/flicker. It's perfectly fine at 720, though. This problem may also be related to the inability of my cam, my internet, or the cam site to allow 1080 broadcasting.

Stuff I like about verysoft: 1) It requires very little CPU. 2) As far as I can tell, it doesn't degrade picture quality. 3) The zoom, pan, and tilt are easier and smoother to control than the standard logitech software. 4) You can switch your feed very quickly to display another cam, your desktop, a video, a photo, or nothing (which will display the verysoft logo). 5) The window where you see yourself is smaller and more manageable than watching yourself in the encoder.

Maybe this version is one that you can remove the watermark?

Yup mine has been getting sneaky with popping up things when I am trying to configure my text, trying to get me to update, but noooooo...I am sticking with the old version, I don't splitcam, I just record my shows, I currently don't make enough to justify dropping $ on software.
