    Default Acrylic Toenails

So I typically get acrylics on my fingers which I love, but I've never considered getting them done on my toes before. However lately my toenails have been prone to chipping/breakage, and as a result they are super short and really unattractive. My feet/toes are already small/stumpy as is (think like the characters on the Peanuts), I can't have super short toenails to boot!

Has anyone done this before, and had decent results? I would assume as long as proper hygiene is practiced it would be ok. I'm considering getting them done for a while, at least until the nails have all grown back to normal length.

I did this for YEARS when one of my toenails fell off from wearing too small shoes. I kept them even after my nails grew back because they looked so good and they never chipped when I danced. ( got pink and white so no polish to chip) I stopped getting em when I stopped dancing. The only thing that sucks is it seriously took like 2 1/2 hrs every two weeks to get my toes and nails done! Huge chunk of my time. I had them for a while and when I took them off my nails grow back fine.

And I wanted to say I always kept them as short as possible cause I think long toenails are funky. I always got tons of compliments on how cool they looked.

I would try some protein/strengthening polish and look at your diet before going with acrylics. I had acrylic nails for years and while they looked pretty, it was a lot of £/time and if one falls of your nails look like shit
until you go to the salon. Acrylics won't fix the problem they'll just make it worse!

i think they would do a LOT more damage to your already fragile toenails, and you'd have to keep up with it constantly..when your nails grow out a tiny bit, it still looks ok and you can get them filled, but you don't want overgrown long toenails with regrowth showing, so idk..if its just about the strength of your toenails i say take some biotin pills, and rub some strengthening cream on them?
