









I read that article...and it's so much BS. For the majority of people, with good metabolisms and no major injures, mild changes in diet and more physical activity is enough. Second, whoever wrote the article forgot the golden rule of research: correlation=/=causation.
The Cracked editors didn't do a good job approving this bad article.





When you have two groups in controlled environments, and the only difference between the two groups is what you are testing for, if you see the results you're looking for in all of the test subjects of one group, but none in the other group, then yes, causation most likely does equal correlation. If you have two groups of mice, where they're both fed the exact same diets and are kept in the exact same environment, with the only difference being the amount of light they are exposed to while they're sleeping, if one group gains a significant amount of weight and the other doesn't, then yes, it is very likely that exposure to light caused the one group to significantly gain weight.
Please state the specific flaws you see in the article, other than you don't the results they came up with.
