    Default Fixing torn plastic shoes.

The strap on my new Pleasers is already tearing (they are the clear kind), I got these shoes maybe two months ago. WTF? Can I put a lighter to it or something to fix it?

Do they have stitching through the strap? I have a pair of pleasers with the clear straps- the strap itself (plastic part) broke almost immediately. I was choked. But the part where it's stitched is still fine. I've had these shoes for over a year now, with the broken strap. Seems like they have a tendency to crack for whatever reason, as both shoes are like this.

Been hoping they would break so I'd have an excuse to get new ones, but so far no dice.

Yeah, I have the same ones, but mine snapped below the stitching part though. I think it's time for some black ones, for me, while I love my clear heels because they're just so clear... they suck.

I think that's another reason I don't like Ellie shoes, they don't have the stitching that pleasers do, so once the plastic gives you need new shoes. Pleasers all the way. If the stitching holds them up you can still rock them.
I think everyone breaks their shoes differently because we all dance, walk and move differently.
My friend, I have no idea how she did this, would completely snap a heel off. Might have been a pole trick or floor work or who knows but that's how she went through her shoes. I personally tend to rip the ankle strap OUT from the insoles this usually happens while giving lap dances.
I also have worn through the rubber soles of my shoes. Sometimes they can be worth salvaging by taking to a shoe repair shop. I had new soles and caps put on my 300 dollar leather ankle boots for less than $40! But if they're your basic clear pleasers that are $40 anyway you might as well get new ones. Maybe sell your old ones on eBay?

Yea.^ Another reason I don't care for the clears. Although I like the way they look.
