I got a great pole from platinum stages.com that I didn't need to drill into an apartment. It tightens to floor and ceiling as if you were fighting a shower pole wall to wall. If you're renting, I advise you get your landlords permission to drill holes into their property.

The X-pole is the best for concrete ceilings.

    Yep ^ I have a 45mm Xpole at a friend's place that has a concrete ceiling.
I also have a PS pole at my place (don't know what kind of ceiling) but both are the removable kind, so no drilling needed, and I
    love both.

Also if you already have your pole and it requires drilling, at my friend's place (concrete ceiling) she used to have a cheap pole, like a Carmen Electra brand that was drilled to the ceiling but because the pole itself was not made well it shifted around from the bottom with advanced and intermediate moves.

I set all my pressure poles with a screw regardless. You just need a concrete drill bit and one of those plastic concrete screw anchors.

Djoser's pole is not bolted in at either end (can't drill bc of landlord) but he has it set into sm sort of ringed doohickey at the bottom. Idk how to describe it, but I think if he were able to bolt it to the floor it would make a fairly solid anchor. Maybe he can chime in w/ a better explanation. I had gotten the CE pole & looking at the floor fixture I thought it would need to be set into smtg a little more sturdy (was nvr able to install it for completely unrelated reasons & ended up giving it to a friend).

Thanks Aniela, but the only reason my pole works so well is that it is tied to that beam across the ceiling. Sounds like the OP is ether going to have to drill some holes for bolts or screws--or get an X-pole which does great by pressure alone and can handle more serious stress than the Platinum models. Though if you aren't doing a lot of inverts or dynamic tricks those would also work fine.
