    Default Buying yourself off stage???

In New Orleans many clubs have the option for girls to buy themselves off stage. If the house fee is normally $70 then your is $100 or something along that line. I have experienced that if they like you or your making a lot of money for them they will waive it the next time the contacts get resigned or if you bring it up after some time. I have worked in New York and Florida(as VIP Hostess) before and this was never an option. Has anyone else heard of this before at any other club? Thanks!

I have worked at several clubs (FL, TX, DC) where there was a VIP option for the customer to buy your company for the whole shift, not just the usual 10/15/30/60min options. I would push for that rather than pay triple digits to get out of stage. Then again, I usually took stage as an opportunity to advertise.

At my old/current kinda club, dancers can buy themselves off stage duty for an extra 10% tipout. I also used to waitress/sometimes manage at an infamous Seattle club that charged a higher stage fee for dancers who didn't want to do stage. Its possible sometimes, at some clubs.

I've never been allowed to do this, although I wish I could. There was a fill-in dj one night and I paid him extra to skip me but he only skipped me once. I won't even get into how much I hate stage on this thread, but yeah, I hate it.

At places I have worked that have more than 20 girls on rotation would usually allow girls tipping the DJ to skip stage, I don't think I ever worked at a smaller club that allowed it cause there just wasn't enough girls on rotation. I've never personally paid to skip stage cause I don't see the point, I enjoy stage and I used it to my advantage for selling dances, it was easiest for me to hustle from stage so that would be me completely biting myself in the ass to pay to skip it lol. I do get why some girls would want to though, some girls hate it and don't want to be interrupted when they are working the floor, so that works for them.

at my club its 25 bucks for EACH time you want to skip stage, something i've been thinking about doing on the weekends considering we are required to dance for 6+ songs and nobody tips. it seriously takes up time that could be used for private dances so i could see why girls would want to. 25 or 30 bucks for the whole night is a steal!

I agree, that's pretty cheap. Here in Detroit I've worked at clubs that also charge $25 to skip each stage set, even if you're dancing for a customer in VIP. So stupid. But at most clubs there isn't a set cost to skip stage for the night, I just ask the dj about it like when I have a regular who wants to spend several hours with me. At one club my regular would come in and tip the dj just $20-40 to keep me off stage all night. But that club was needing business badly so they'd go out of their way to make big spenders happy. Same regular came to see me at a different club and the dj charged $60 for just 3 hours. So clubs and dj's have different rules but usually money talks.

200 for the whole shift upfront. Or 50 every stage you skip.
