I have a few in mind, but I will kick things off first.

Now, see, to me that is comedy, as was much of that movie.
Now to me, I saw the first Friday the 13th in the theater when it came out

i'm too much of a pussy to even sit through an entire horror movie![]()

Ripley in the Alien Queen's egg chamber.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

Well, it's not the scariest, compared w/a lot, but..the movie "Carrie" (the original) at the end, where Sue is taking flowers & putting them on here grave,& she reaches her hand up..
I watched this movie w/friends, & when it got to that part, I grabbed my friend's hand, she jumped. Haha

different things are going to scare different people, for me personally slashers have never scared me. anything with old ladies ( like the one in insidious, the women in the kitchen in sixth sense) or children ghosts scare the shit outta me. oh, and demon possession. the first exorcist had me shaking.. but it has to have the right atmosphere as well
That movie The Return of the Living Dead scared the hell out of me when I was younger. Couldn't sleep for a week straight!

^ i remember watching that in the threatre with a friend as a really young teen, and having him scream and throw his popcorn

Dr. Neal Frank on television during Hurricane season.

The one about Snakes, in TX.

I didn't want to cop to it, but since sm1 else mentioned this one ^^^^ what did me in when she is seeing all those frightening things but ppl think she is just mental. It hits home for me bc there were times yrs ago when I had severe depression & was so messed up that I wasn't always certain whether what I saw was 100% in my head. That is one of the scariest experiences you can have IMO. Once was enough for that movie for me & I haven't watched it since.
My other big one is Requiem for a Dream. Idc what you all want to call it, I have a nasty needle phobiaso I consider that a true
movie.

This looks pretty frickin' scary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_T1Jj1inE8M![]()

I thought Saw was a good horror movie that scared me.
Definitely old school horrors like Halloween and Friday 13th
I don't think modern horrors are scary with all the digital effect I KNOW the sh!t is not real. Old school horrors were more authentic and scary.

I made the mistake watching it aloneIt was not scary as much as was dark and sad
Never again

The whole movie Martyrs. Scariest film I've seen in forever.

"The Ring" scares me. I got freaked out when Samara comes out of the TV and the film gets kind of grainy and she starts walking toward the camera in that in-human, jerky, stop-motion way. Scary.

This was immediately what I thought of. Creepy.
I'd also add what others mentioned which is the Exorcist. Very scary.
I don't think I saw this movie all the way through but this is the scariest movie trailer I have ever seen. So scary that they had to change it because many parents complained.

I binge watched Friday the 13th and Halloween movies with a girlfriend in high school at her parents cabin in the mountains. We thought it would be hot. Really bad idea.
Anything with like diablo kind of stuff, I can't watch it and I'm barely religious at all.
Another scary movie which made me literally sick after watching it ... The Fly (1986).

This is totally true. Ghost movies, possession movies, anything like that does nothing for me. I find it hilarious, just a ghost story is so over played for me. But i'm sure slasher movies are over played for a lot of people too.
My favorite is body-horror movies, they don't scare, nothing scares me, but man, anything that makes my skin crawl I love. Like as BreeDancer said above, The Fly is a body-horror movie, if that movie doesn't make you cringe what really would?
My favorite body-horror movie is 'Mermaid in a Manhole' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinea_...film_series%29
For me it is not about what scares me, it is about what disturbs me, grosses me out, makes think the director/writer is completely out there. That gives me the "wow" factor, pushes the envelope.
If anyone needs help ever finding a truly disturbing movie, I can help. I have seen hundreds of horror movies, and consider myself a horror-junkie.
