Sad I got Pelvic Inflammitory from my Doc Johnson cyberskin toy

I have been using this toy for about 6 months and I've been very careful to wash it with anti bacterial soap before shows and after shows and hang it to dry thoroughly. I've washed my body before shows and used natural methods to keep my PH in balance but I still got an infection.

I believe his toy has been causing me issues for a while but I felt I was being a worry wart and brushed it off.
Two weeks ago I began to have a cloudy discharge and my scent reminded me of fruit and nuts and maybe coffee, but off and not good. I thought a serious infection would smell worse and would be a more alarming color. Then on Saturday morning I woke up feeling like I had a bladder infection pain, I felt I had to use the bathroom and all the sudden just got flush with sweat. I felt like I was feverish for a few days before but never had reached the fever point. All the sudden it hit me ...It was PID.

I went to the ER and all STD tests have come back negative.

be careful ladies, don't use cyberskin toys without protection, its not worth your body.

Yikes... I have two of these toys and never had an issue. I don't use them much, I am mostly a glass toy type of person.

Did they have to give you meds?

Thanks for the heads up! I hope you get better soon!

Yes. A terrible shot in my ass and ten days taking antibiotics every 12 hours that make me feel like puking.

I was aware of issues with jelly toys and the cyberskin toys boast that they are antimicrobial and safe so i thought i could trust the brand. I was wrong.

So sorry This happened to You. Did You discuss with the Dr. as to which kind of toy is best to use?
I use both jelly, and cyber, and so far, so good, but now You have me worried.

Yikes. I am so sorry to hear this happened to you and thanks for the warning. I also have a few Doc Johnson toys in rotation and I have had PID before which makes me more suseptible to infection. I really feel for you - that pain is the worst and it is really scary when something in your body isn't right like that. I hope you recover super quickly and thanks again for warning the rest of us. Not everyone would be thoughtful enough to do that especially while sick.

Thanks for sharing and it sucks you gotta go through that. =( I'm looking at expanding my dildo collection, guess I'll stick to silicone and look at some glass options.

Yep non porous toys are best because they're easier to clean and don't hold bacteria like the toys made from porous material.

Toys made from porous material like cyber skin may feel more like the real thing but the safest way to use them is like you say to put a condom over it.

I found this article explaining the different materials of toys and health hazards http://noveltiestoymeetsgirl.com/201...make-sick.html

Sucks that happened to you and hope your healing well

    I know right!

I mainly use vibrators but my first dildo I bought I was so excited until I got that b!tch home and opened it then got a whiff of this strong plastic like smell that was horrible to my nose so I couldn't even use the thing and end up throwing it away.

These manufactures know these materials have harmful chemicals so why sell some sh!t that dangerous to people health?!?!

Sadly, I believe this world doesn't give two shits about the female health..for example, birth control not being covered by insurance but Viagra is, women suffer from sexual dysfunctions more than men but they sure as hell found a way to treat ED faster, abortion- if men are the ones who got pregnant I am sure this whole world would be pro choice...as long as their dicks works, no one cares.

This is EXACTLY why I use condoms on ALL my sex toys now! Seriously, you can get them at the dollar store. Saves time and illness.

So sorry you had to go through this. Hope you feel better soon! Sending good vibes...

Ouch, so sorry! I have a cyberskin clit toy that only goes there, but now I'm a bit worried.

I am so sorry to read about this, thank God you are on the mend. Sending you healing energy.

I finished a round of Macrobid because of a raging UTI that spread to my kidneys and I am blaming the combination of bad toys, (used with latex condoms), my enthusiastic willingness to please the customer and a crazy reg who likes to do vaginal olympics with me. I haven't taken any antibiotics in over 15 years and have had only mild UTI's maybe one every 2 years or so that I would treat with D-Mannose successfully but not this time.

I threw out my jelly California Exotics and the Basix TPR dong. Nothing but Vixskin and Pyrex from now on.

I was thinking we should arrange to buy Vixskin dildos as a group. I'm sure Vixen could arrange something for us if we have enough girls buying all at once straight from the manufacturer?

I'm sorry to hear that bb. I hope you feel better very soon. I try and just use my toys very sparingly and for BJs only. I'll play "tips" with a few but I feel for you ladies who go all in. Our job can wear us out and these toys can fuck us up at times.

I only use condoms on toys, it seems to drive the men wild. They love to watch me put the condom on it, and then stroke lube onto it. They see its easier to imagine its their dick with a condom on the toy, really turns them on.
