Default How to "compete" against a feature

I believe some of y'all may had heard that one of the "Teen Mom" alumni (Farrah) is now a feature a club in South Austin. A few days ago, I had a friend of mine from Virginia coming here for a few weeks because she's interested in Texas and opted to try at that club, but says is kinda tough to compete against someone as known as her, especially since the club forked like half a million on her. As of now, I don't know if my friend is intending to stay in the area, to commute to another area, or to move. She's not living at my house, btw.

Is it possible to compete against someone like this?

I would think so because she's one ugly idiot. It's sad that women like her are now features. Maybe the next feature can be Honey Boo Boos' mom. Seriously though, not every guy is interested in the feature.

^^She also did porn. I personally don't think she's all that either: I've seen strippers at low life dives looking better than her (as in, those clubs where 50 bucks is a good night).

I hope she gets over that.

At Doubles we've had features and overall it was decent. I try not to think of them as competition, but as "bait".

I wouldn't be worried. Business may be slow for 5-10mins during her actual show though (due to the fact that guys like to watch the features, good and bad, and the club will talk it up).

Just like any other girl in the club - simply more variety.

I think that since she's there all time the novelty is definitely going to wear off for people. They cab get a dance from her whenever there's no sense of urgency. Additionally she's some mildly cute girl from a reality show that did one porn she's not an established sex symbol or even established porn star. I doubt it will be a problem for your friend.

Isn't Farrah a joke now? I can't imagine too many guys taking her seriously. They might go just to see her but I would think they would still spend on other girls who look better than her (she's ruining her looks with plastic surgery!). Plus if she's regularly going to be there she won't be that special anymore. And 2500 for an hour with her?! I highly doubt that'll happen too often! I think the club is making a huge mistake lol but lucky for her to land a contract like that I thought she would be broke by now.

I relayed most of the answers to her, and she's feeling more positive now. I also think Palazio forked way too much on her (half a million).

give the girl some credit - she took what she had and made an opportunity out of it - i dont personally know her but kudos to her for knocking out a million dollar sex tape and a half million feature act -

I think she already had the opportunity and went the wrong way with it but that's just my opinion. I don't care too much either way I just remember watching her on teen mom and she was always my favorite so now it makes me a little sad for her. Yeah she has money but at what cost? Oh well I hope the best for her and don't mean to thread jack!

If you can't beat em, join em...

There's got to be a positive of working the night a feature dancer works.

Like someone mentioned before having a feature will draw more customers to the club and of these customers not everyone will like her type or have two grand to spend with her. Or they have two grand but she's occupied with doing her feature dance duties so that leaves more opportunity for you.

But if her mind is set on not working with the feature dancer then it probably better to work a different shift.

Well, I nvr worked @ a club w/features..(can u say dives, lol) but I will say this: I was a custy @ a club awhile back w/a feature (I went w/a guy they won't let wm in alone) & I saw a lot of the dancers busy.
This was a porn star, can't remember who, & she was giving out t shirts on stage.
Like someone mentioned, some of the guys were into her, & a lot were getting dances from house girls.

I work alongside features on a regular basis. Your friend shouldn't be worried at all. Not all guys will like the feature, and it's unlikely they'll all line up for dances. If somebody buys an hour vip, a customer interested in dancing with her is far more likely to get dances off another girl than he is to wait hours to possibly get a chance for dances.

Damn I will be in Austin next week and was going to try that place. Hopefully she will get more customers through the door and for that I would be grateful. The club must expect a great return for forking over that much.

A good attitude goes a long way no matter who you're competing with. Not putting down the feature to other customers and actually talking good about her is a way to show the customers you are not threatened by her presence.

If it ends up being awful I will just go to the other club on the north side, but I will stay positive.
