Default Will my club get mad?

Okay, so I make good money at my current club. (About $500+ on weekdays and I almost always hit $1,000 on weekends, mostly Saturday's.) And the club I work at isn't really a gentlemans club but they consider it a "fantasy sports bar". I just want to try a new club out of curiosity and for experience. Also see if it could be easier for me to hustle there. It's typically tough to hustle at my current club. I do really well, much better than most. I am really grateful for what I make but I want to see what's out there. Will my club get mad if they found out I quit and started working somewhere else...

and another thing that's been on my mind is the environment in other strip clubs. My club is like considered a "beginner" club. I'm a little worried that the girls at other places might not be nice, the management might take advantage of me, a lot of dirty shit and extras going on.. That's what's holding me back! I'm not too worried about trying to make more money, since I already do decent, but if there's more money at other clubs then why not? Anyone have advice for me?

I think you're fine to check out another club but don't quit your current one just yet. A lot of dancers work at two (or more) clubs, especially ones that don't have strict shift requirements. You could even ask around at your club what ones the other girls work at. Some cities even have one major owner of many different strip clubs within the city, like at my club their owner owns multiple clubs and the girls will work at both. I wouldn't go straight up to your manager and tell him you're thinking about cheating lol, but unless they explicitly say you can only rent their stage then go for it!

Just do your research and audition at a couple other clubs and work a nite to see how it goes. Find your best money making nites at each club then make your own schedule on where you'll show up. It's a common dancer practice I think. If the other clubs you check out end up being sketchy like you're worried about just ditch them and return to your "home" club the nites you tried other places.

Loyalty is important to SOME club owners though so definitely ask around a little bit, just to be safe.

Yeah, working as a stripper isn't quite the same as working another job in the sense that you can often work at multiple clubs at the same time and you don't have to give two weeks notice or otherwise official quit to do it. Of course, there are some clubs that try and keep their dancers from working at other local clubs, but that sort of stipulation is built in to your contract. When that's not the case, it's incredibly normal for dancers to work at more than one club at a time, so I wouldn't be concerned about that. Maybe don't broadcast it to anyone in the club, but you just might run in to some of the dancers from your current club at your next!

As for other clubs potentially having mean girls, pushy management, extras… I mean, yeah, that's a possibility. It definitely happens in larger clubs or in clubs with high earning potential. The beauty of being a stripper is that you're never truly stuck at a club. If you find a new one and find it has all those things and the money isn't worth it to you, there's nothing stopping you from leaving that club and never going back. It's not like you have to work out a notice period or stay there forever. That's why you don't want to officially "quit" your home club -- not that you wouldn't be hired back, but there's no sense in not leaving that door fully open.

Good luck, and it's always good to see what else is out there! The money may be better elsewhere, or it may just make you appreciate your home club even more.
