    Default Problems with Clients

So my escort clients are tricky.

Clients keep asking for my real name and phone number.

I now have a fake real name but I don't want phone calls.

I give them my email and tell them I will call them on a private number to confirm the booking.

The clients get upset and seem to be dropping me for refusing to hand over the info...

Does anyone else have this problem?

If a client is that pushy, I will not see them anymore. There is no reason why a client needs to know your personal information. A few of my clients know my real name and number, but I gave it to them because I've known them for long time and I know I can trust them. I use an "escort" phone number and an "escort" email when communicating with a new clients.

Make sure the email/number is not connected to your real name (or any of your real info for that matter).

Are these your actual clients or potentials?

Yeah go with your gut. Don't let anyone guilt you or push you into releasing your personal/private data.

Plus you can always find new clients.

These are potential clients. They have seen me once and want more info/phone number for future bookings.

Finding a phone is tricky - because all the companies won't sell you a sim without needing a state id card to register your details. Not happening.

For now Im just going to stick to email/private number until I work out the phone thing. Nothing is worse risking my details.

There are some legit reasons for not wanting to book by email. It's a slow way of doing things and they have no way of knowing if you'll call back in 10 minutes or 4 hours. That's tough both for planning reasons and because the return call may come in at an inopportune time. Repeat e-mails also leave a very visible and incriminating trail that never really goes away. So while some guys may tolerate/risk it once to establish first contact, I'm not surprised that they don't want to keep booking that way.

You could probably manage the whole name thing simply by coming up with a fake "real" name, but IMHO you're going to continue to have trouble with the whole phone thing. I haven't emailed a p4p girl in over a decade and I doubt I'd start now, especially when I can just call up someone else. IMO you've got a problem if almost every girl who competes with you is easier to connect with than you are. To each her own of course and maybe the trade-offs are worth it, and if so then it is what it is, but IMHO you'll struggle to build up a solid group of regulars if you keep forcing repeat clients to book by email.

Anyway, just my for whatever it is actually worth.

TextPlus is a great application. You can text and call without them knowing your real number, it's a fake number that shows.

I could just be that technically dumb...but looks that way.

To activate a sim you need to provide state id info - drivers license etc. So thats out.

but did you try to call them (or accept calls from them) to a instant chat app? like skype, viber, line or any other one that is popular in Australia?
if you have internet on your mobile and you buy a skype number you can give away that number. (it can be a local Australian number)

    Really appreciate your help.
Viber does not sells numbers like Skype does.
but I think you could use this trick:
    1. buy a prepaid SIM card with local number
    2. activate viber for that number
    3. take out that SIM card and use your regular SIM card (your regular number)
    4. give to the customers the SIM number from point 1 above and tell them that is for Viber and they should add you on Viber for text or audio calls.

(yes, you can use your mobile phone with a local SIM number and Viber activated for other number. and this is also true for whatsapp/telegram/ others).

PS. can I add this question and my reply in the thread? maybe others will learn from this.

Whatsapp is an easy to use texting application.

But honestly, I disagree with the notion that you'll never build up regulars who are happy to book by email. Most of my clients get my google voice number after our first meeting if they want to text me, but maybe 3 or 4 book consistently via text. Everyone else has never complained about, and will even usually initiate, contact via email. How quick are you to respond to emails? I have my smartphone set up to receive my work emails - not that I always respond instantly, but if it is an email for a near-future appointment, I have the option and will take the time to reply from my phone. I also spend a good chunk of my day when I'm not working, doing things on my computer, and generally have my email open. Very rarely, unless I'm off traveling around or visiting family or something, will I not respond in a timely manner.

I seriously can't even think of anyone who has ever whined about not being able to text me for a future appointment, or who threw a fit because I don't list my phone number. Honestly, with smartphones nowadays, what's really the difference between firing off an email or a text from your phone? I also tell people they can't call me unless we pre-arrange it because I have roommates who don't know what I do. I have plenty of appointments, plenty of regulars built up, and no one has ever complained about this. If people have had a problem with it, they've weeded themselves out. But I'm still doing just fine with the people who mesh with my standards. They are out there.

I used to have a work cell number as well as email.

For new clients the no-show rate of those that make the first booking by phone was a minimum 40% (local guys are mostly cheap assholes where I am, and most foreigners book by email), which is normal for all girls in my area.

But the no show rate of those that made the first booking by email the no show rate was 0%. They were also better clients.

I don't know if this is the case where you are, but I find there are a lot of losers who have no intention of booking and get their jollies talking on the phone to you. I felt like I was working in a free call centre, and then of those phone calls only some make a booking, and get fewer actually show up.

I agree it's best to have a cell number for regulars, but as aurora pointed out an email isn't too inconvenient these days.

Don't believe that they are dropping you for not giving a ph number before you have met them. They were prob just entitled time wasters.

Thanks for the replies. It was good to hear why clients want a number to call.

I will look at the different calling apps and find one that hides my details. In the meantime I am just going to stick to email.

I do reply really quickly, call when asked and check email multiple times per day.

I use google voice and also an e-mail with no signs of my real identity. But yea, trust your gut. There are plenty of clients in this business who just want to take advantage of you. Hell a lot of the guys aren't even what I would call clients. just guys trying to get freebies by praying on inexperienced escorts.

Okay.. here's a good one. Client saw that I was traveling to a specific city. Booked for that trip. Wanted 3 hrs. Generously increased donation. After our date, he found out I had another date on another night of that trip. That person donated more per hour but only 1 hour. Somehow, date number 1 found out all of this info. Sent texts, emails (even found an email under one of my other names), the emails became threatening to my work in the industry because he donated more. Then 1 day later responded to an ad in my hometown wanting to meet.. WTF?

    Thoughts please?

^ I had a similar experience. An old SD (read: john) somehow hacked into my email account and read it. He recited the details of other emails I sent to other people. He didn't tell me how he did it; he just vaguely said he had someone in his 'company' do it for him. Creepy fucker.

Is this guy threatening you or your job? And if he wants to meet again, I definitely would not!
