Default Advise for getting started as a transgender?

Hello everyone. This is not something that I really thought of until recently. But I was wanting to know if anyone could give me some advise on getting started as a transgender camgirl. It will be some time, as I have to get my own place first. So I have time to get lots of advise. =)

For everyone still with me, The idea was presented to me by a Man I talk to online sometimes. We where talking about random stuff and he asked me if I ever thought of being a camgirl. I laughed at first, as I do not have the body of a female. But then he told me that there is a lot more people that like trans girls then I would think. He also said that a lot of men would like my sweet, shy personalty. So I started looking into it. And ended up coming here for some help.

The truth of the matter is, I have never been on a cam site, or even watched porn in my life. I know, I am crazy! It was just never something that interested me. But something that does interest me is making people happy, and not being poor. And,, if I can get my voice worked out, I think I would be good at it. As I am a good actress. I have been in plays and the like all my life. And I am always told how well I do. But my voice is really deep, and in no way, what so ever feminine. It is hands down the think I hate about myself the most.((Other than some body parts lol)) And I would think it would be a turn off to anyone that would be interested.

I am really starting to get off base here, so...
TLDR: Can anyone give me some advise on getting started as a trans camgirl. And will I be able to support myself off of just doing that at some point? I am sure cris women make a lot more. But I have no idea really.

One more thing. Does anyone know if there is a way, on any site out there, that I can have three or four cams at different angles. And people on my page can chose what cam they want to use at that time? I feel like that would be something they would like.

there's no difference you just need to find a site you like by doing research. i'd try chaturbate. watch other girls cams and then try it yourself, its kind of a learn by doing thing. and buy a comfortable toy and lube and you're basically good to go. as far as your voice, the only way to make it better is to practice it so forcing yourself into a place where you have to speak frequently can only help. its not just going to magically get higher/more feminine but it's totally possible however you have to actually work at it.

I work SM, never liked CB simply because of the time it takes to build up consistent pay when so many on there are in it for the voyeur side too- and I hated the interface, SM I had a cleaner space and more over get a physical check every week, also less trolls. and to be honest first and foremost watch others for a little bit, be it other T-girls and cis girls, many of our tips tricks and approaches are similar, but also many of ours differ to slight degrees, and our target market IS alot smaller being a t-girl alone isnt going to be enough to get by, so learning your niche' and bag of tricks help. Also dont be too worried that we get quite a few asses, some want the more CD/queen types whom are basically men in bad wigs who look sound act like men in wigs, and others who only want very very very passable in looks and sound , and every thing in between, and dont be upset that a good 90% of them dont know the difference between a tanswoman and a cross dresser

But I would suggest watching other girls, and videos, more so really other t-girls be they cam or porn ( like bailey jay and such) if anything for homework, because at the end of the day- you have to know whats out there, what guys are biting at so you can plan your own attacks and - I suppose the best way to put it- understand alittle more of whats....expected? not the best way to put it, but it helps a lot to get a feel for what your doing

also there are more than a few of us T-girls here flitting about so dont hesitate to ask

I'm also a Tgirl, I just started camming as well on chaturbate (trying to register other sites as well in the mean time), and between today and yesterday (~3 hrs each), i earned $4. And I see the cis girls have >3000 viewers, but trans usually have the highest of 500 concurrent viewers. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong, or I just need to find other sites. The numbers, are really disheartening.

everyone starts that way, it takes time, and our demographic is smaller. again I never liked CB much always felt too much of a free for all, I pretty much went SM because you had alittle more control over general traffic and shorter time needed to generate the pvts and such, I think my first night ever camming I walked away with like 150 in 2 hours, pretty decent for a rookie on her first day, but then again Ive had days Ive done better in less time, days Ive done way way way worse in more time, just something you figure out, find your stride, what works and what does not, and so on, just keep yourself flexible confident, and relaxed and patient

That's why I strongly recommend to have some savings before jumping into camming. Like any business, you need to invest at it and even though the profitability point comes quicker if it all works, you'll most like be operating at a loss first for the first month or two, which is the learning curve period.

Be patient, be consistent and see yourself as a brand. You are one now.

As long as you have the discipline to put in the hours, and the thick skin to deal with asshats all day, you'll do fine. I'm also a transsexual camgirl, I do okay (I average about $30/hr on cam), and I'm no supermodel. The one thing I will stress though, is make sure you have good equipment. That webcam you bought to Skype with Grandma? Throw it out, and get a c920 or better. If you don't have a relatively modern computer with an i7 processor, get one of those at your first opportunity as well. Camming is a business, you get out of it what you put into it. I wish you the best of luck =)

PS: Also, feel free to PM me if you need any transition-related advice. I'm somewhat of an expert on the subject of hormones, and pretty much everything transition related XD
