MANY MEN WANTED TO LAY ME DOWN, BUT FEW WANTED TO LIFT ME UP

I have zero motivation to do makeup on anyone but myself. However, there is a part of me that wants to take the class just because. If I had the money to burn, I'd do it.

I learned a lot of what I know from other strippers, some cosmetologist friends, makeup counters and watching Youtube tutorials for much much less. :/
That brow class alone is almost $300 too.... yikes.

I took makeup artistry classes, and was a makeup artist for a few years. I really enjoyed everything about it... oh, except bitchy models!

There's money to be made once you have clients!

make up classes are a waste of money. People create their certificates and shit like they mean anything. Just youtube. Nothing better than free video tutorials and experience. There are a lot of people who are "instagram famous" charging a ton of money to teach at conventions with hundred of people in a room but all of their photos are photoshopped. Total ripoff.

Before youtube was even thought of, I was a make-up artist. I worked for fashion shows, a salon for a bit and numerous upscale stores. I never got a certificate; I just went to a lot of seminars put on by the companies that hired me & they were free.
The most memorable and satisfying experience I had was helping a burn victim look a bit prettier. She was so happy. I did everything to keep myself from shedding tears:-(
But no certificate ever.
