Default will hairloss effect income? Do any of you deal with hair loss here?

I unfortunately have androgenic hairloss from before I started hormones. It is / was not that bad at all, I still have a female hairline and most of my hair. I did lose some density though. Only I notice it now, but I am depressed because it seems to me that after a year of HRT and surgery it's still progressing.

I will most likely have to wear a hair system some day in the near or far off future.

Honestly does anyone else deal with this ? Did it effect your income ? How do you cope with it and work?

My hair loss has made me depressed, suicidal, and it really does make me feel MUCH less sexy/ happy/ flirty in general nevermind for camming.

Throw on a wig & forget about it. I wear wigs cause I don't want to damage my hair by curling or straightening it.

    Dont over think it.

We are our own worst critic. Having nice hair is good but let's be real here, men don't come to cam sites to just look at your hair. It's your whole presentation and confidence that sells.

I think if hair loss is making you depressed and suicidal, it's time to see a professional therapist who is invested in your well being. There could be deeper issues that need to be sorted out.

Dr oz was just talking about how come women are NOT using minoxidil? he says it works.. men use it all the time.. try it out if you haven't already!.. I am thinking about getting some but I think my hair is just super fine.. I have like barely any volume.. I don't know if it would help me.

I'd for sure buy a nice wig. I have hair down to my ass, and I'd still buy a wig if I were a cam model! Styling hair is a pain in the ass, plus it's damaging and uses up electricity and styling products (money!). With camming, you don't have to worry about anyone pulling your wig off, and you control your movements (no tossing your head around violently)...it seems like a no-brainer!

Upvoting what Sam and Charlie said. It is so much easier to plop on a wig than deal with my curly/frizzy hair that I almost always wear one on camming days. Probably better for the hair too, and fun to have options.

Have fun with it. My custies are so used to me wearing wigs, they don't even notice. Other than to say they like it on me. One day purple, the next I am a red head, sometimes a multi-colored wig.

Camming is supposed to be FUN! Seriously, some of you with your hang ups are taking all the FUN out of it.

As in WE can play dress up every single day... without a thought to it. Think Lady Gaga & how much fun she has with her looks.

Men want to get lucky, NOT like they do up close inspections & turn down sex. Have you NOT seen what some men fuck? Please!!!! Men are a lot more relaxed about our flaws than we are. They do NOT read Cosmo or Glamour EVEN Playboy & hold us up to those standards in life. ONLY the most crazy ones do & who wants them?

I live in South Florida, have seen some UGLY OLD Men in DRAG perform & have men lined up giving them money. Come on, now. Let me tell you, those Queens put on a show & had personality, emoted & got MY MONEY TOO!

Look at the top girls on any cam site. Are they young flawless, right off the pages of Playboy? NO Are they making money? Yes

Be the best you can be, but self-confidence is the SEXIEST thing you can ever wear.

Do NOT use minoxil, it's bad for you & raises blood pressure..
I just got a shampoo/conditioner from Sephora (also on their site) developed by a woman board-certified dermatologist & hair loss specialist, it's said to have 95% moderate to significant improvement.
So far, I've used the conditioner (once), it seemed to have a positive effect. The staff @ Sephora told me there's been positive reactions from customers.
The brand also carries a serum & vitamins.
    http://retress.com

Another thing I love is African Pride brand Olive Miracle Braid Sheen spray, from Sally's. Don't get the newer version w/the red cap.
It contains nettles, rosemary, tea tree, mint, & many other good things..I love it! Very soothing to the scalp & good for the hair
Massage your scalp daily too. Hair loss is very complicated, & there could be more than one reason for it.
Are you under stress? that's a big one right there
Good luck, I myself went thru some hair loss earlier this year..it's very upsetting.
Take care of yourself, that's the most important thing, & Hugs to you.

Here is a link to a prior discussion including some links to wig suppliers:
    https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/ar.../t-181999.html

In my experience, you have to spend good $ to get a wig that lasts longer than a month. I've been buying $20 ones that turn into dreadlocks, but I also don't care for them properly.

I get mine off of amazon for cheap, No they dont last long, but find I have to use a comb & NOT a brush. The straight ones last longer than the curly ones. Takes a long long time for them to ship in.

Also Anime is BIG & growing. Surprised I don't see more cam girls having fun with it.

Remember Dolly Parton has been wearing Wigs for YEARS! Wendy Williams makes no bones about hers & started a wig line.
EVERYONE in Hollywood wears wigs & extentions. Don't let those long flowing locks fool you, all FAkE.

Yeah don't use monoxidil or whatever it's called. I tried it & it made my hair loss twice as bad. I was pulling out handfuls in the shower. Scary stuff. It also it left blotchy red marks on my skin when I got it on my arm. That's bad news. My mom tried it & said it made her hair fall worse too. But I suppose it could work, depending on cause of hair loss.

Castor oil, use it every day with a carrier oil. It will help with hair loss, also, don't forget to deep condition from within with evening primrose oil, or fish oil, or coconut oil. (EPR is my favorite, every woman should take it)

I think a wig would be a good short term fix.

If you are looking for long term solutions and have the funds you may have to look into options like medical therapy (minoxidil or finasteride are approved by FDA) or other treatments like laser therapy or hair grafting/transplant.

I feel for you. You might be stressed so the hair is coming out and that's causing more stress.
Take a deep breath and a good look around. Guys don't want the same same every day. Check out the guys C2c too. Very few are exceptional.
Get it out of your head that you won't make money. I have many imperfections. Some days I make $ some days I don't. But do I think it's me? Nah. Site issues, time of the month, holidays, ect.
If you have never worn a wig and think guys will notice and you'll feel funny- just do an experiment. Try one. Wear it. Make $$. Simple.
I have worn a few. Nobody notices. Or if they do they just enjoy the different look.
Best of luck! And don't freak, most likely it's temporary. If it's not, still not worth ending it all.

I have been castrated, I have been on Avodart 0.5 MG and Spironolactone 200MG for over a year, I have a hairmax lasercomb. I have done extensive research, including blood panels for thyroid and other disorders.

I have diffuse loss, which cannot be transplanted without causing shock loss to other hair throughout the scalp and would most likely make the situation much worse.

Minoxidil does cause an initial shedding but it should not be permanent, it is just the weaker thin hairs cycling out to thicken again. But Minoxidil BARELY makes a cosmetic difference, even in the best cases I have seen. You also need to use it every day for the rest of your life and if you stop you lose any hair you have gained.

Thank you guys for telling me about your wig wearing, it makes me feel MUCH better about work. At least I know now no matter what happens to my hair I can still work.

The heat thing is what worries me the most as well as what it will look like and it falling off.

wearing wigs sounds like and excellent opportunity to use your hair treatments on your real hair. ^_^ Heat helps with most.

as for hair loss, some ways to moderate it is de-stressing, healthy diet, lots of water, yada yada. After I was pregnant I lost a TON of hair, so I looked into this. Collagen supplements might help; I've heard wonderful things of seaweed supplements.

Oiles, braiding, and covering your hair do help. Wash it as little as possible. Give it a chance to get used to the hormones --they're bitches.

Also, if it gets too thin for your taste you could try some natural henna to make it look thicker. I'd say it really helps, my mom uses it on her temples!

I knew a little old lady who SWORE by this stuff: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/nuh...894266-product

And she had incredibly thick hair. No first hand experience though. Wigs rock

I wore a wig for a year and have extensions now, so don't worry about it. Also, even when I had short SHORT hair there was an audience for that.

Second this. Try changing your hairstyle. Even if you think you look good with long hair, there probably is a short haircut that will look RAD on you. ALso, if you ever decide using a wig, it will be easier with short hair.

From one of my fav books, Natural Remedy Book for Women by Diane Stein: Emphasis on whole foods, organic meats & fowl if you're a meat eater, particularly fish/seafood. Also onions, garlic, egg yolks carrots.
    Drink a green drink spirulina, Kyo-green, wheatgrass juice 3 X's a day.

^This so much^ and wigs are quicker than styling your own hair (for me atleast)

Yes, wigs are wonderful but they do not change how you feel inside. During chemo I lost all my hair and wore fabulous wigs. No-one could tell they were wigs except me...and that's the whole thing. I knew. It didn't matter how many times I was told I looked gorgeous, sexy etc, I felt crap. Losing your hair is awful.

Wearing a wig through choice is so different from wearing one through necessity. So it will effect your income if it effects you.
