I worked it about 5 years ago and remember is being decent, a lot of lonely people with no families came. But it wasn't like, amazing so if you have somewhere to go I would skip it.

I searched this yesterday and it was hit or miss like any other holiday, according to most girls. Some had awesome $600-$700 nights and some had $20 nights. Same with Black Friday.

I'm working Saturday, hopefully it's business as usual and the guys will be trying to get a break from family by that point. I decided not to go in today because I'm sure today and tomorrow will be full of girls trying to make Black Friday cash before taking the weekend off.

Agreed that holidays are always a 'crap shoot'. Generally speaking, family guys will be with families. But as mentioned above, occasionally you'll get a customer who doesn't have any family who will seek to relieve holiday loneliness.

Might before Thanksgiving- awesome. Day of- not so much.

If you don't honor the holiday, it's a good time to go scoop up some easy dollars from bored people. Kinda like Halloween...

My club is closed Thanksgiving but it used to be open. I guess they closed cause it wasn't profitable enough to stay open. Def work the night before though!

Never worked a Thanksgiving day before (i'm thinking Wednesday may be better) but I think of most holidays it could have the most potential because 1. unless they work retail, they will have a long weekend 2. it's still football season 3. you could find a few lonely guys who don't have family or friends to celebrate with 4. people usually eat dinner much earlier in the evening that they usually would (at least I know we do) and then they get bored / cabin fever with relatives etc.

as with point #2 if you work in a city hosting 1 of the football games then I would definitely go!
If you go to work tomorrow, make sure you let every customer you speak with that yall will be open and invite them to stop by after their plans.
but other than that it is just a gamble.
I think one of the biggest things that all clubs who are open SHOULD do is advertise that they are open on holidays!! I think if I guy has to drive a considerable distance or make a certain effort to come to the club (tolls, parking fees, etc.) he may feel like he's taking the gamble to get to the strip just to find they're closed.

I feel like I will be too bloated, lol. But I might work. I always do really well on holidays, but I do well a lot of other days, too.

My view on holidays is that I'll work if I have nothing better to do, but I won't turn down plans just to work at the club. They're too unpredictable to be worth planning around, and since I always put more pressure on myself when I go in when I could be doing something else, I don't ever plan to work holidays.
