    Default dying a landing strip?

i'm thinking of growing a landing strip and dying it bright pink or something..dumb idea?? want some honest opinions haha, it was just a fleeting thought i had and idk if it would help me stand out or look awful. has anybody tried it? i haven't seen my pubes in years because i shave every day, but i'm guessing they are dark brown and might require bleach ? that makes me a bit nervous, so close to my delicate area lol.

I don't know. I would be too scared to have hair dye anywhere near my kitty. I don't think it's worth it. It might end up the wrong color, too, like "Bozo the bush" (sex and the city reference) - lol!

There is dye specifically for that. I have no experience with dying it pink. However I have used henna from Henna Hut to make it firey red. I did not have to use bleach or anything. I just added warm water to the henna powder, mixed it, and applied.

I used powdered hair bleach (clairol) mixed with a volume 40 creme developer. I followed the instructions on the packages. Applied the mixture to the hair. Turned a rectangular sheet of plastic wrap into protective underwear. <<<This is a very important step! Put actual underwear on top of that (underwear that you don't mind getting dye on... just in case). Sat on a towel, played neopets, and waited till I was sufficiently bleached. 20-30 minutes should do the trick.

Then I rinsed the bleach off with warm water. I also used a bit of shampoo just to make sure everything was good to go. The hair should remain slightly damp.

Using a small dye brush, I applied Special Effects (SFX) Atomic Pink dye to the newly bleached hair. I followed the instructions on the package. On went a new plastic wrap panty. On went the real underwear. I sat around for an hour or so. Rinsed the dye off in the shower with lukewarm water... no shampoo this time... just a glob of good conditioner. Rinsed again. Admired my work. Smiled.

I had very minimal fading over the weeks... I think the fact that pubes are usually hidden from UV light keeps the color particles intact. Have fun with it.

I used to dye my landing strip hair blonde(my natural color is very dark brown).
My colorist would always say he was "Mixing a batch to match my snatch!" I would use the color he was using to dye my roots.
It never burned, and I have sensitive skin.. Only leave it on for a few minutes.
