Default advice for PALE skin dancer

I am a dancer (working in NJ) and I have very pale skin. I used to do the blonde/blue eye/tan bit but for reasons ranging from pre-cancerous skin condition to chemical sensitivity I can not/will not tan or apply self tanner. I am pale now, end of story! However, I am struggling finding a "look"! I am fit and have no cellulite, so I'm not in any need of masking or smoothing my skin or anything. I just need help finding a look. I tried black hair with my pale skin and as you can imagine I looked far less exotic and much more witch like...so that didn't work. Blonde hair and pale skin looked a little...precious? Is it me? Hot pink looks weird on me now....baby pink? Stick with black outfits/blonde hair? Stick with pale colors?! I always wear wigs by the way so hair color is open. Any advice at all is greatly appreciated!!

First of all, you are fair-skinned, not pale, pale means sick! Second of all, I am fair skinned, with strawberry blonde hair and grey eyes. I tend to wear a lot of jewel toned high quality lingerie in pinks, purples, blues. Pastels won't be flattering. If you go for blonde, go for a warm medium tone, then it won't look like white skin with white-ish hair. Reds are also good. Black made me look like Wednesday Addams so I get it, but dark chocolate brown was all right.

I'm a porcelain lady and I wear red.

I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and while I admit that it's a little extra work to look "sexy", it's very easy to look expensive.

I say red or blonde! I am also very pale and platinum blonde/blue eyes. A lot of men tell me I look eastern European (I am not at all haha.) I've started going for a sort of old Hollywood glamour look...lots of rhinstones, sparkles, jewel tones some lace...thigh highs and different kinds of stockings look really good on pale skin imo. Wear things that make you look expensive. You could also work a pin up or alternative look.

I'd run with the pale skin thing. Not to be crude but a lot of ethnic men will choose a "white girl" over anyone else just because she's white. (This is a running joke in my family b/c most of the men in the family like pasty white redheads and blondes, and the men are darker. IOW I don't mean it as a rude statement.)

Red hair works great with pale skin, and also wacky colored wigs- that's a traditionally American fashion trend.

I look like Corpse Bride and I do just fine. Maybe a lot o the guys that are into me are secret necrophiliacs. There was that undertaker in New Orleans.....
Second on the jewel tones. I love dark purple and cerulean blue. Pastels make me look slightly jaundicy. (Is that even a word?)

I'm very pale myself with grey-blue eyes and found that either very light blonde, or very deep red hair works best for me, simple pinup makeup and wearing shiny, jewel toned outfits that contrast my skin tone work best to attract attention and compliment it. It IS easier to look expensive, I like to wear one or two pieces of bling-y statement jewelry, nice mani/pedi and keep everything else fairly simple. I can't tan at all since I'm sooo pale, it just doesn't look right on me by any means.
I tried neons and didn't feel like it looked right on me but I have a friend who is as pale as I am with strawberry blonde hair and she looks great in neon greens and coral colors. A lot of my customers choose me specifically because of my 'porcelain completion' too, so I'd say play it up as much as possible.

I'm pale redhead. I would have suggested all the colours and styles above. Also google image search hon. Pick some likely celebs and look at what suits them.

There's a girl at my club who's very pale and she has bright red hair, it looks amazing on her! I wish I could pull off that look.

I've tried a number of times to figure out what "season" I am and have never come to a conclusion. Perhaps this would be helpful for you, though?: http://www.thechicfashionista.com/se...nalysis-2.html

I have dark-brown hair, medium-blue eyes, and am fair-skinned, so I'll be watching this thread.

Fair skin with blonde hair looks so beautiful IMO, in a very Nordic/scandanavian way. And guys love it! If you think it looks too washed out or little girlish, you could add black or dark brown/red streaks. It adds contrast which looks really hot. You could also do a chesnut brown/auburn color which looks good with light skin and is not as severe looking as black hair. Another way to stand out is by wearing bold colors like hot pink, electric blue, cherry red, purple, bright green, etc. which will also add contrast to your light skin and warm it up. With pale skin, you should avoid wearing pale colors and having super dark hair, it washes you out and makes you look gothic.

Im really fair and blue eyes and such, hair wise I love going with reds, and sorta play with the semi-rockabilliy or steampunk looks often to compliment it, just a nice vibrant hair colour, and try not to use makeup colours that will dull the eyes out and things should be good.
