    Default Vegas Questions...

Does registering and doing all the licensing stuff make your name pop up on the internet in public search engines for having worked as a dancer in Vegas? If one wants to be relatively undercover about this work, it seems risky to give them my SSN and officially file a business license there. I guess it would be public record so I'm wondering what would be put out there.

Also, what are typical Vegas house fees at CH3?

    Thanks ladies.

Licensing doesn't make you pop up on random search engines. I Googled my name and nothing about my dancer background (or anything personal) comes up. House fees at CH3 range from free before 2 p.m. to 80 dollars on Friday & Saturday nights, it's more if you want to go off stage though.

Thank you Amira! Another question RE the licensing/registering stuff -- does this in any way flag you for tax filing? I file taxes with my day job but I dance on the side and keep it cash for a reason. If I were to work a couple nights in Vegas and not report the income, would I be in some shit b/c they have my social? And is there some kind of city taxes they ask you to file because you have a license there?

And does the business license identify you as an entertainer?

Quite good, thanks Michelle. I took a few years off dancing and just recently got back to it.

If you don't want a business license, your best bet is to work where one isn't needed. Go to the Rhino. I'm not sure about the tax questions because I file my taxes for my dance money. The business license is a license for entertainers because NV has different types of licenses for different businesses. I hope that helped.

Thank you Amira, that did help! So the Rhino doesn't require a biz license, just the $40 Sheriff's Card? Is this because dancers are considered employees there?

I'm curious about this as well bc I want to come work there soon but want to bypass renewing my biz license right away if possible. My sheriff's card is still good til 2016 so I think I'd be golden to try either Rhino or a smaller club.
