So I'm working towards becoming a professional pole dancer. When I first became a webcam model, I made up a name, and later decided "hey this fits perfectly for my pole dancer persona" and decided to use it as my pole stage name.
I actually have no problem with people knowing I have a history in camming/sex work, but I don't want that to be the main thing they see when they google my name-I want it be first and foremost associated with my pole work.
The other thing is, I don't really want my male camming clients to check my schedule online for safety issues-I figure it'd be pretty easy for them to see my touring and performance dates and venues, etc. I'm still relatively new in both industries, so it's working for the moment but it seems like things could get complicated down the road.
I'm a bit torn because on the one hand, I've worked so hard to build my camming clientele base on SM and Twitter. I have been on hiatus for about 3 months and planning to go back soon, so I'm wondering if it's worth it to just start over with a completely different identity and start from scratch.
I also already have 2 aliases so far, so I wonder if creating another one would just be a lot of names. I'm also considering escorting, so then that would presumably be yet another name and website. Feeling a bit stuck! Any suggestions?![]()

) Sad but true. If your main alias was just as a run-of-the-mill, not-very-famous stripper it might be different, but you built up your previous brand(s) well & it's kinda become a double-edged sword now that you want to branch out into vanilla poling.
