Default Best way to quit a club?

Straight to the point, I'm not making money at my current gogo club-it's dead and the customers that come in are blue collar and broke. So I'm going back to a nude club I worked at last year, I already spoke to the manager and was told to drop in whenever I can. I'd really like to work this Thursday and Friday, but I'm booked at the gogo bar. They do schedules by the month so I have 2 more weeks of bookings left. But I'm afraid if I finish out the month I'll be more miserable and broke than I am now (and I'm starting school in 3 weeks so I can't be broke!).
I don't want to leave on bad terms, but my manager is a hothead and I'm afraid he won't take my quitting suddenly all that well. Should I stay for the month and pray to the money gods that I make something? Should I just not show up to the club anymore (which I've done before)? Or face my fear and quit over the phone? Anyone else been in the same boat recently?

Why would you worry abt leaving on bad terms from a club that isn't taking care of you? The mgmt there doesn't give a shit what kind of $$ you make as long as they get their cut. I'd say, take the middle ground & quit over the phone so that they have a chance to get another girl to fill your spot, but really, the loyalty you'll receive from most clubs is in the negative.

The only thing that should be concerning you abt this, is will you def make better $$ at the nude club you're returning to? If the nude club isn't a guaranteed improvement, that's the only way I would consider staying at your current place, & try to split between the two while you start (re)building your client base at the nude club.

Other than that, fk the gogo ppl. It doesn't sound like they are affiliated w/ the club you're wanting to return to(just from the polar opposite approaches -- monthly schedules vs 'drop in whenever'), so it's not like a chain where you could get blacklisted if you piss off a mgr.

Just call and tell them something came up so you can't make it in for the rest of your scheduled shifts. Done and done. No need to "quit" or make a big deal of it -- and you certainly shouldn't bother sticking around for the rest of your shifts if they're not worthwhile. You've gotta look out for number one, so give the nude club a shot but leave the door open to the go-go bar, just in case.

The two clubs are definitely not affiliated. Yeah, you're right Aniela, I shouldn't worry about what management thinks...I broke down last night crying to my boyfriend that I'm not happy at this club, and I haven't cried in a year. ..I need to do what's best for me financially and emotionally.
As for money I'm 99% sure the potential is better at the nude place. I worked there last winter and did excellent..just wanted to take a break from the nude scene. Ugh the grass is always greener!

    ..... Just leave?

I don't know of any stripper that's ever put in notice or even told her club she was leaving, unless it was to retire for good.

Just tell them you need your name taken off the schedule for the foreseeable future. If they ask why, just say you're burned out or something similar.
