Some lessons are learned the hard way, but you ended up making the best out of it.
It is how we learned to be smarter about it. Can't confuse chasing each & every dollar over making more money. Sometimes we have to see the big picture, the cost of it in money, energy & time not being worth it. If you are willing to do it, figuring out a big tip to make it worth it.
I used to make great money at bubble gum videos. Until at the age of 42 I got my first & LAST cavity. Dentist cost money. Still have pain from it 3 years later & can't chew on that side of my mouth. NOT worth it to me to do any more of them.
Occasionally, I get asked if I smoke or will I for them. I DON'T smoke. I NEVER have smoked. NOT stinking up my place, not ruining my lungs or health for a few dollars. When they plead after I tell them 'no', I think what an asshole. Wanting me to destroy my health MY LOOKs so they can jack off. Now, some of you smoke, go ahead, I can careless. But I can tell you how it has aged my friends, they ALL look 10 to 15 years older than me. It does ruin your looks in the long run. Quit for vanity reasons, alone.
Take everything into consideration before agreeing to do odd request. Now, be open minded within reason.
I do want to thank you for sharing your story. It is a great teaching point.
Good Luck,
Sam
