    Default Break songs?

At my club, we make money from LDs, stage and floor tips. They also play a break song in between every girl, the length of the song depends on how many girls are working. My question is, do you charge the full price of a lap dance for a break song? I have been, but customers sometimes point out how short the song was. One time the DJ played maybe half a song, so I told the customer that we would do another half a song for the same price, but I don't like that, I want to charge $20 per SONG, I don't care if the song is 5 seconds, I deserve that money.

I do, but ours are generally full length (and sometimes longer unfortunately)... because if he's playing break songs, it's because there's not enough girls to put them up continuously.

But on that tack, when it's super busy and 20+ girls/3 stages on and he's cutting songs to 2 minutes, I sure as hell charge full price. If the customers complain, I fake-sympathize with them to direct the blame away from myself.

Yeah, charge full-price no matter what. I do. I don't care if they complain, I just act all surprised that the song was short, but take the money anyway. Too bad, guy. LOL

If they complain: "Sorry hun, they mark every song I spend in here and take a cut. Sucks that one was so short but this one's longer so if you've got another $20 I'll make it extra good for you!"

i don't know if this is possible to do at your club or if you even want to, but i prefer charging by time instead of songs. i typically do $20 dances for 3.5 to 4min of time. keeping a watch would help. that way it can lead to "i charge 20 for 4 min, but you can do 15min for 100" or whatever charge you determine is appropriate for your services. then you don't have to sit around chatting until the next song begins, either, and your customer won't feel like he got ripped off and may be more likely to continue dancing with you.

like i said idk if you can actually do this at your club but i've never gotten any complaints.

Some songs are short, sure, but some songs are long and customers certainly never complain about the length of the song then. As long as you phrase your pricing as per song (or go the time route as suggested above by countcrabula), then tough. It's not like you know in advance how long a song will be, or can be expected to stop every time there's a break song in case it's short.

    Just make sure that:
    (a) this is the norm in your club -- if all the other ladies wait for the break song to be over before starting to dance, well, maybe you ought to do it too since customers will expect that. Example: at my club, once you get a guy into the back, you wait for the next song to start before starting to dance. Customers expect a full song, so dancers why try and start right away don't tend to do very well.
and (b) that security/management have your back on this. Most customers don't complain, but you want to know that if they try and raise hell about getting a short dance, you won't be the one to get in trouble.

If it's ridiculously short like a min, I go halfway into the next. I really don't want the guy feeling ripped off if he's being a polite little gentleman and I know he's got more $. However I never keep going if they're grabby. A minute feels like a year when I'm fighting off hands.

I fake empathy for them. Honestly I only feel bad for like a half second. Now it makes me angry when it hurts my tip, because it's not my fault. Don't penalize me because you feel shorted. Most guys don't, but I've run into my share of cheapskates....
