Default Anyone worry bout BPA in toys?

My hubby pointed out this morning that in the long run, sucking and fucking plastics might not be a good idea.

I use glass toys too, but I do a lot of "harder bb! faster bb!" fucking and face fucking, which is not comfortable with hard, heavy toys like glass or stainless.

Any recommendations for BPA free dildos? I haven't done research yet, but if you girls know of anything offhand I'd appreciate any advice you can give.

I use body-safe high grade silicone for those purposes, like those made by vixencreations. Tantus is good too. There are a couple threads on toys with details, but the softer ones like vixskin have a hard inner core and a very life-like almost velvety texture. Great for deepthroating and pounding sessions. http://www.vixencreations.com/vixskin.php I use the bandit.
I've phased out all rubber, UR3 and vinyl dildos and replaced them all with glass or high grade silicone. Pthalates are known to burn and some girls have been hospitalized. I shudder when I see people deepthroating those soft jelly toys on the reg. It's been suggested that these chemicals can cause cancer, and it's banned on children's toys, so why isn't it banned for adult toys? Rubber dildos are usually labeled "for novelty use only" to protect them from lawsuits.

Tantus toys are hard silicone and not good for deepthroat/gagging, but their O2 material seems intriguing. I haven't tried it. I imagine it's close to the Vixen Creations vixskin. http://www.tantusinc.com/collections/dildos Tantus often has special deals and promotions, their grab bag and sale toys are just as great quality as their others. I have a dozen at least. http://www.tantusinc.com/collections/sale It's all about the silicone. http://www.tantusinc.com/collections/grab-bags

Lelo vibes are amazingly high quality silicone vibrators. Good for pounding as, ahem, they make me really wet. But not so great for maintaining stamina as they make me come too easily and quickly. If you were to try one for a dildo pounding session I'd recommend one without the clit stimulator, as I find they just get in the way and when you're pounding in and out your clit isn't a big part of the action anyway, sadly. Many men really don't understand or care about female pleasure. http://www.lelo.com/index.php?collec...me=femme-homme

Thanks so much! Never sucked a dildo before I started camming so it never occured to me to wonder these things. I appreciate the help.

Silicone is good stuff - it doesn't have weird odors and it's very, very safe. Be aware that it is one of the harder sex toy materials - not like glass or steel, but if you're used to jelly or elastomer toys, silicone will feel pretty hard to you. If in doubt, don't use silicone lube on silicone toys.

My experience with vixskin is limited, but I believe vixskin is one of the softest choices, and probably recommended if you can afford it.

I use a few tantus toys, and for the most part, I really like them. The O2 is a bit softer than the regular silicone, but not a huge amount. I have a Tantus Hank, which is not O2 (http://www.tantusinc.com/collections.../products/hank) and a Tantus Mark O2 (http://www.tantusinc.com/collections...oducts/mark-o2). They are roughly the same size, although the hank is slightly smaller in diameter. They both have a sort of velvety texture, but I think the O2 is a wee bit softer on the surface. They are similar in hardness in the shaft area - you can squish them a tiny bit, and they can be bent until the head touches the base. The main difference is that the head and very top of the shaft on the O2 are somewhat more squishy.

Another thing to look at for BJ shows is a silicone pack-and-play toy. They're designed to be worn in a harness and tucked into in your pants without creating a huge bulge, but should also be just barely hard enough to fuck someone. I have a discontinued Tantus pack-and-play dildo, and I wish I had gotten a smaller one, but it is very soft compared to the other silicone dildos. I can't really use it for pussy pounding because it's just not stiff enough if they want "faster, harder."
Here are a couple that they currently sell, although I've never tried them personally.

Doc Johnson now makes pure silicone toys for reasonable prices, but I've tried them and would not wish them on an enemy - which is why I put them on my strap-on for those dudes that really want to be reamed, lol. DJ silicone toys are insanely large, hard, and full of unnecessary bumps and ridges. I highly doubt that any woman was consulted during the design process, much less a serious cam girl.
