Mind Blowing How long do you stay on MFC when slow?

I would love to stay on MFC for hours but when there is barely anyone in my room or no tips going on I start to panic about my stupid cam score. How long do you guys stay online and then give up when its slow? I've been doing 30 min is that too soon?

It takes a lot to recover from the terror of the camscore lol. Trust me, I used to freak the hell out about it. Try to think of it like this, for starters- you get paid in tokens, not camscore. It's not a reflection of how well you're doing necessarily. It's a reflection of how long it's taking you on average to make your money. Hide it from your profile so you won't have to look at it. Seriously, that made a huge difference in my head, just simply not having to look at it. Ignore it. Pretend it isn't there. It honestly doesn't mean a whole lot overall. Chances are, not only will your camscore balance out (meaning no need to panic over a bad shift here and there) but it will go up because you stayed on and made tips that you wouldn't have made had you logged off.

Personally I think a 3 hour minimum shift is perfect. 1st hour to warm up, then the next two are usually the best. If it's good after that, stay on. Unless it sucks really really hard, I try not to leave before 2-3 hours. Just today I was on for about 3 hours and I barely made anything for the first 2 hours or so. Then suddenly I almost doubled my shift goal. This wouldn't have happened if I had given up too quickly. IMO 30 minutes isn't long enough because it takes about an hour to get things going on MFC (usually; this is just my experience). It took me literally a couple of years to learn to ignore it, and even now I still think about it in the back of my head lol. I can say that every time I've taken a gamble and risked my camscore tanking, it's done the exact opposite. I held myself back because I did the same thing logging off after 30 minutes.
