Wow, that's a big dog!!!!

He's magnificent! Hope you two become best buds and have a lot of time together.
Congratulations!

Makes me wish I could get stationed in SE TN … you are both adorable.

Awww cute. congrats

You're gonna need a bigger couch.

aw I LOVE big dogs!!! I am so jealous I wish I could adopt one that big. Thank you for rescuing him! There's so many dogs in the world that need to be adopted I wish people would stop making theirs have puppies.

Sooo Adorable, your Daughter too! Is he an English Mastiff? There was one @ special event I worked, ppl were lined up to take picture of & with him... Everywhere he went, he had little crowds around him
Also, along with being very loving/gentle, they are great guard dogs, the lady owner of the dog mentioned above told me about a someone bothering her, she said he positioned himself between her & the trouble, didn't bark or growl, but gave her a look..enough said/

Yes, he is an English Mastiff. We also have a Neapolitan Mastiff, that was to be mine, but when she was a developing pup, my wife had a life threatening illness, an the bond switched to my wife. NO ONE that Cleo doesn't know, gets near my wife.
This is Cleopatra Velvet Blue...

We actually bought her, and were only able to afford her because she was the runt of her litter. She weighs about 100 pounds which is small for her breed. She has had her share of health issues also.
These giant breeds also include Great Danes, and we have one of those also.
The giants are house dogs and cannot live outside. They have had aggressiveness and biting bred out of them, and mainly knock a burglar down and hold them until help arrives.

Wow, the pic with your daughter really shows how huge he is!
Your dogs look so huggable! I love big dogs, both for security and they are usually so loyal and sweet to their owners. Thanks for brightening the day with the fun doggie pics!

That dog is a true beauty!

Harley came in from outside on Sunday with something in his mouth that appeared to be a tennis ball. It was a softball, and he had his mouth almost closed around it.
Later I found the skin from the ball in the bedroom, and little pieces of the foam rubber core, aaaallllllll over the living room floor.
