I have no idea where to post this but im completely new to the site so please forgive me![]()
I have started working on cam's the last 6 weeks. Its been going great and I have earnt just short of double what I earn in a month at my FT job. I have decided to continue working on the Cam's as I have enjoyed it but now I realise I will have to to sort my taxes out and I have no idea where to start?!
I'm in the UK (London to be exact) and I have done a little research on other forums about this. Alot of the Girls I know that cam use their earnings as their only source of income. I have seen they claim back things such as sex toys, underwear and even electricity, internet connection & heating.
I was just wondering as I already have a FT job which I am on the books for and paying tax...how does it work for me? Do they combine the two salaries together when working out taxes? even though my employer sorts the tax for my fulltime job? What I mean is (For example) If I earn £20,000 a year from my FT job and it works out I earn £20,000 in a year from camming. Does that mean I will then be in the £40,000 tax bracket and have to pay the higher tax percentage? Also am I still able to claim back for things like electricity, heating, internet connection when doing my taxes for camming? Can I register as self-employed even though I'm employed by someone already? Do I have to tell my employer about the camming?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks![]()
