Yes, I'd say you've watched too many movies.
Q1) depends on the mgr. If they do, pick up your shit & walk.
Q2) nope, bc I keep 'stripping' & 'personal' lives as separate as possible, & have virtually no online presence, so any wanker who has tried came into it w/ less than nothing to blackmail me with.
Q3) only if you let yourself be a pushover, & ignore your intuition when it's telling you smtg/sm1 is BAD!!!!
Start w/ the stickies at the top of the Stripping General, Newbie & Hustle Hut forums. Altho many many girls here are not from Down Under, all of the points made in those stickies will apply pretty much anywhere in the world you want to work. I mention the Hustle Hut section, bc while you might not think right off abt how to 'hustle safely' there are a lot of important bits abt the risks of 'over-promising', bait&switch & not getting paid upfront.

It's not super dangerous. There are always risks to any job and life in general.
No one can make you do anything you don't want to do. You can always stop, say no, walk away, or walk out of the club.
As far as I know sexual contact is always illegal in dance clubs. "Just because everyone else is doing it" is no reason to muddle your own boundaries.
I follow state/county laws and do my best to abide by club rules, and usually have my own boundaries on top of that. If anything being a dancer has given me more self-esteem and stopped me from being a pushover and letting people get away with any funky shit.
The club has managers and bouncers to help make sure you are safe. But you still have to take precautions like
Staying out of gossip
Keep alcohol consumption to a minimum
Don't dance for guys who give off a weird vibe
Etc.
You never should be forced to do anything that would cause you physical or emotional harm.

Don't be a dumbass, and keep to yourself and you will be fine.

Mind your own business and save your money.

Being a stripper isn't any more dangerous than being a construction worker or a flight attendant. Every job has its dangers. You just have to protect yourself.
-Make sure noone is following you after you leave work.
-Don't leave your drink unattended (make sure a customer doesn't put a roofie in your drink).
-Learn a few basic self-defense moves in case a customer tries to rape/molest you in VIP.
-Guard your money! Always!
-Don't do a pole trick you're not comfortable doing. You don't want to break a bone or rip a muscle up there.
-Walk carefully, yet gracefully in your heels. Practice walking in heels so you never trip.
-Don't bring drugs or do drugs at work.
-Drive carefully. Don't drink too much!
You'll be fine.![]()
