I went on a cruise in the Caribbean and it was beautiful.

These aren't really sunny beach spots but I went to England and Scotland last summer and I LOVED Scotland! The people were so friendly, it was beautiful, so much history and the accents were cool to hear lol. I liked Edinburgh more than London. It wasn't really cold but it did rain while I was there.

My boyfriend is Portuguese and we are planning on going with his family soon. They showed me pictures of the town that all of his family is from and it looks so ridiculously beautiful I cannot wait to go. I feel like Europe is just on a whole different level than the US and should be seen at least once if possible!

What are some places some of you have visited recently? I'm thinking of maybe going to Dominican Republic or the Bahamas.
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Cuba yet, in light of recent events. It seems like Puerto Rico and the Bahamas get the plurality of votes- not surprising since both places have plenty of airline/cruise ship choices for getting there plus more accommodations. I'm curious what the attraction is that the Dominican Republic holds for OP. Not that its a bad place, but there are better options out there.
    I'm right 96% of the time. I don't sweat the other 5% .......................

DR is very pretty, and there are cheap (but fun) ferries that go from PR to DR.

If you want sort of " wet seal" on the beach you have to go egypt, turkey, greece they have hotels which are not so expensive and very expencive but they include really awesome food. But there not so warm yet...im mean warm but not hot.
My friend went alon to Thailand, she met a nice girl there they had so much fun. She lives in vietnam now, and she loves it. But be carefull india, vietnam, thailand all those countries with very wierd drivers, who will run over you and they dont even care. Also in thailand many indians with yellow turnban and red dot who will stare at you andeven try to offer you sex for free or symbolic price lol.
bali nice, warm, not so cheap
Myself i want somewhere warm like spain,or italy with not so wild ocean. And i want to travel all over south america, eat huge ripe mangos and some rare berries and fruits such as acai, pasion fruit, granadia and etc. and breath fresh air.
Also i want to visit japan, cuz they have alot of places with thermal water.
