Has anyone tried the Isagenix 9 or 30 day cleanse? I can't decide if it's expensive but good or just an MLM rip off...

I got the stuff for the 9 day cleanse and plan to start tomorrow. I can post results if anyone is interested.

My girl did the 30 day one and looked shredded as hell by the end of it, so she got great results. She was also doing the Barre method workouts a few times a week and was in pretty good shape to start. I wanted to try Isagenix myself, but I can't go 30 days without alcohol. I just love my wine too much :-/

I did the Isagenix 9 day cleanse and it was awesome. I lost 5 lbs easily without feeling hungry or deprived.
I started at 121 lbs 5'1" and finished 116lbs.
It cost about $150 plus tax and shipping so maybe $175 all in.
You do 5 "shake days" and 4 "cleanse days". On the shake days you drink 2 of their shakes and have one regular meal. In between you can have their snacks or a few almonds or a half an apple.
On the cleanse days you drink 4oz of their cleanse product that tastes like pomegranate juice 4 times a day. You can have their snacks in between or again a few almonds or apple slices.
You have to avoid alcohol and caffeine. I had no alcohol and switched to green tea during the 9 days.
Easiest 5lbs I've ever lost. I totally recommend!
xoxo lovely ladies!

Isagenix is a very good company. Their cleanses are great. But if you don't eat right after your cleanse, you will be likely to put weight back on. Their cleanses are designed to keep you full and without cravings, and you're not dropping water weight. Using them with a good weight loss plan and workout regime, they are great to get past a weight plateau.
My husband did the shakes for breakfast and lunch for the longest time on their extended dietary plan, but unfortunately Isagenix doesn't teach you how to eat right once you're off of the shakes, and he gained the weight back...

I think these companies thrive on people's inability to eat right on their own. I think you could get the most out of it if you follow what they say but then slowly incorporate your own things you make into your diet. Like make a shake on your own from scratch or a healthy meal. Then you may develop a healthier lifestyle overall and stay in shape instead of having it just be temporary.
