to sum it up short: The Legend of Korra is a cartoon that was aired by Nickelodeon- and thought its " target demographic" is the tween groups, it has a major adult following too. The series broke more than a few molds by first introducing their main character- a realistic, strong willed, non white FEMALE as the lead. still very very uncommon in more action based shows. The series went on over time dealing with toxic relationships, PTSD, and a few other major social issues. What got the internet to blow up though was that, over the past 2 seasons She was building a strong relationship with a secondary main character Asami- formerly rivals in a love triangles they became besties, and that began to shift, ENDING in the two women ending the series beginning in a " officially confirmed" romantic same-sex relationship with eachother.

this is a compilation of reaction videos to said ending and I cant help but still be in tears at how positive all the reactions really have been. its been covered a ton all over the web and in on;line magazines, the series has been thrown into more than a few awards.
its small news to some, they could have/should have shown more, but I think its a major start and really over all one of those things when in a bad mood to see an outpouring of support and compassion and other positive sides of humanity we seem to rarely see in the news anymore so I thought I'd share.
