Default should i even try the second club?

so after taking a much needed 2 month break from dancing after being fired from the last place, i sort of started at a new place..i'm just doing amateur nights ( held 4 days a week) whenever i feel like it, kind of a walk in thing which is nice. great parts are, there's also no house fee and nothing is taken out of your dances, and no dress code. its a short 20 min drive. we can also give guy's massages for 20 bucks. its very laid back, safe, more personal, and yes a little bit "divey" but the staff is really nice and respectful and the manager seems like a sweet guy.

the bad part is that there is no champagne room and the dance room consists of old recliners propped up against the wall with no dividers. no privacy whatsoever, no option for privacy and absolutely NO contact at all..as in, i brushed against a guy with my shoulder accidentally and got yelled at by the security guard. so its no surprise that selling even one dance there is a bitch, let alone multiples..and there's no upsell option. so there's a definite earning ceiling. i dont' even know how to do an absolutely 0 contact dance! what the hell do i even do, shake my butt and then turn around and pose for a whole song? i'm just used to one way contact or at least not getting yelled at for a slight brush against the guy's knee or something. i had perfected my lap dance moves over the years and could really get guys to keep going but not with this set up, no way. so i guess stage, massages, and the random dance here 'n there will be how i make my money..

the only other option is going into a scuzball club in boston that has a bit of a bad reputation, but i have friends who have worked there and they said they made good money. its just a slightly bad part of the city, and i hate the city and the drive..but..
i guess i'm just venting and looking for any kind of advice or experiences, or anything lol

^ No idea hun. I remember when I worked at a club which required me to stop putting boobs in face. I had to get pretty creative but NO contact, sheesh. at least you know there aren't any extras going on.

Working at an extras free club sounds great, but if I were you I would go where you know you can make $. If you work at the "scuzball" club, just maintain your boundaries and do things in the best and most safe way you can as far as being in a bad area.
I think the first option is nice in theory, but is it going to be busy? Are you going to be happy with that set up? Or frustrated because you know the earning potential is greater elsewhere?

Maybe wait it out and see if the first one is ok moneywise on weekends? Just cuz it IS January and snow on top of a scuzball club just seems not worth it.

I agree that you can't really tell with January, everyone is broke right now, according to my bf last Monday was the most depressing day of the year, 'Blue Monday' because everyone is broke from the holidays and hasn't really been paid yet.

I moved from high contact to no contact when I came to London and it was a really hard switch. My mental health definitely improved in some ways, I had a lot of resentment and anger I didn't even realize I had because I was so good at pushing it under when I was working high contact, but in other ways it suffered. I never made as much money, as easily, without the stress over making money that I did in a contact club at no contact (sorry that sentence was probably confusing). I don't know, to be honest if I could chose I would go high contact again. I never really stressed about money then and when I was dancing no contact I used to have breakdowns all the time freaking out about money and what I was going to do, etc, because it just became SO sporadic. I basically just had to hope some guy would REALLY fall in love with me that night and want to spend a ton just to hang out, whereas in high contact I just had to be a good saleswoman and look hot. Plus customers can get SO nasty as they feel like they're being ripped off in no contact CRs.

But I definitely think you should give the no contact a try, because there is an art to make money that way and if you haven't done some research into what to do on SW and are just working a shitty month, then it's hard to say if you'll like it or not.

I started these threads asking for advice when I first switched to air dancing, there's some good advice in them and Shanna Dior also posted a ton of links in them to other threads on similar subjects. I would take a look through.

thanks guys. i could go out to worcester but its an hour and 20 min ( not counting any traffic) from me, so the drive would just really suck and it would have to be worth it. the place where i got fired from really holds a monopoly of good clubs around where i live grrr. i guess i'll just go a few more times and really get my hustle on!

Granted I'm talking from a long time ago but no contact is where I worked and I banked. It does require being creative though and learning new moves. One I used to do was bend my knees and move side to side. Another was at clubs where they allow the man to hold your waist (these were considered no contact since this was the only place they could touch)and you kind of move towards him. Hard to describe these but they really interested these men. Also, with no contact you have to be a very good conversation starter and get them interested just by chatting. However, if you can't make money there maybe you could try the other club and see if you can make money there being clean? If not the no contact club might be better because you might end up making around the same and making little at a clean club to me is better than making little at a dirty club.

Is the entire no-contact club a totally open floor plan? I get the problems caused by the 'private' dance area, but are there no spots on the main floor that are a little more recessed? Maybe you could take a corner sm where at the edge of the main floor, move a few tables & chairs to make your own 'restricted access' area & hold an 'unofficial VIP'. Sell it as a block rather than just song-by-song dances.

Yea it can be embarrassing if a bouncer or w/e is near lol but guys like it. If ur allowed to take off your shoes your dance might be even better as it's hard to twerk in heels. I'm mean guys watch cam girls so it's kinda the same. Good luck, I hated air dances

I worked at vip Chicago for 12 years. Zero contact and dances at the tables. But that's a high end club not just a few recliners in the back. It doesn't sound like that club is going to have the clientele to make you money. Any ways if it was a big club and all the girls are at tables doing air dances it can be good. You just tickle their face and put your hair on them and when you turn around you do a back bend and lean into them with your hair. I would just try to get guys in vip since it was a big open room and also zero contact. Air dances kill your body. I'd go to another club around there. I danced around mass and i don't know what you made or where you worked but their are other better options there. If the club was big and you did air dances at the table that's one thing but air dances in a room with a few recliners idk.

If you can pull up a chair of your own in the private dance area you can use it as a prop. Leaning on it in your various poses will help alleviate sm of the strain on your body.

i'm definitely trying the other club, i dont think i ever wanna go back there again after tonight..i made 40 dollars! i haven't had a night that bad since i was a brand new dancer, i cried. its just not a good fit for me..my body type is not appreciated there, and i just can't sell those dances. it also attracts an extremely cheap clientele because its the cheapest strip club in the state pretty much. plus i've done amateur night 3 times now, and the manager doesn't seem to want to let me work regular shifts so fuck it. i'm just so panicky at this point, i'm thinking about going to the sister club i got fired from and begging them to let me work there again. 12 hour shifts but i need money. anyways, just needed to rant

I am certain there is nothing wrong with your body type. I never go to amateur nights , but my dim memories make me think it brings out a crappy clientele.

I don't hear anything nice about the land of the fragile footwear, something about patrons groping girls as they pass, merely hearsay................

I don't know who does the hiring where you are now, but it should be mentioned that the day manager has been out for some months for illness, and there may be a decision making void there.

Ugh don't get discouraged. After getting dropped from a club you're comfortable at, the in between phases tend to be the worst, but just remember that it will pass and it's just a matter of figuring out what works for you and unfortunately that takes frustration, physical/emotional drainage, trails, errors and time. Well you don't seem too happy with your current situation and you also have friends at the club in question, so you won't feel too alone. I'm sure if you like and make good money at the second club, you"ll be happy to work there again. Now the question is, will you like and make money at the second club? Well Simone, there's only one way to find out....

I don't get how you worked all night if he won't give you regular shifts. I told you a place like that would bring cheap clientele. Go elsewhere.

That's a really good idea, but make sure it's ok with the club. After reading your thread, unfortunately, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
