    Default Sometimes rejection is KIND

So the dive I work at hires indiscriminately. They don't care if the girls make money or not. Not really. Its more about having the numbers.

Its cruel to the girls whose bodies are the opposite of what the clientele demands. I watch them cry, pick fights, do extras for free to get bookings. They are tense and no one is winning here.

Our clientele likes slender girls or curvy but they demand tone and flat stomachs. Management will hire girls with big tummies and pretend its going to be all good.

Its not. They were set up to fail. Or the girls who are clean but just too big still get hurt. They waste hours and money for no reward.

Gentle, honest feedback would be better. I.e. you are gorgeous but this is what sells here.

I hate when places do that, camsites literally take anyone with an id and a computer, clubs give hope to people that won't make money there and collect house fees until the girls figure it out. PS-I'm curvy with a flat stomach, nice to know there's a clean club.............despite it being across the world.............where I'd still make money.

Yes I totally agree. When I got rejected from pretty much all of Manhattan, I was devastated. But it was a blessing in disguise. My friend, who was smaller than me but still thick, managed to get hired at one and we were both excited. I felt like there was hope for Manhattan for me if I lost weight. Until she told me how upsetting it was to work there. Guys would immediately get up and walk away when she got up on stage. She would hear a lot of comments from young groups of guys. Even though she was considered normal, and even on the small side in queens clubs, she felt like a fat cow in Manhattan. I was so shocked. This girl had a rocking body and the types of things she told me were said to her and she overheard about her boggles my mind. And while she occasionally would make money off the one businessman that was glad they finally had a girl with "meat on their bones," she said it wasn't worth it to stay. If they had just kindly rejected her, it would've saved her a lot of headache

I agree. I was rejected by a few upscale clubs and at the time I was hurt but it saved me sadness. I wasn't big, I wasn't even "stripper big" but still bigger than the club wanted. I've worked at clubs where they hired all kinds and yes I saw larger women get upset because men didn't want them. They'd end up going broke or making little. The reality is most men either like thin or what I call real curvy (as in Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Lopez, etc), not fake curvy (Rosie O'Donnell). Most men aren't attracted to BBW. Yes some are but for every guy who likes it there are ten who prefer the other body types. A person with a flabby body (this goes for men too)is generally not what most like. A larger girl can bank if her weight is in her butt and breasts but otherwise? nope, sorry. I'm tired of this idea that anyone can be a stripper and make money because it's not true.
