I know there's info about this for camgirls and escorts, but I'm wondering if any strippers here have insight on independently advertising. I feel like our needs/goals are a little different.
Here's my situation: My club used to have amazing customer turnout, but over the past few years, turnout has dropped significantly. I make about 75% of what I used to compared to 2012, 2013. This is equally true for my co-workers-- it's not just me! There are just not as many guys coming into the club as there used to be.
The local economy has been picking up, so I don't think that's the issue. I have noticed that there's been a direct correlation with new management and a lack of advertising. Old management (when the club was good) posted to Twitter, Facebook, boards, and who knows where else, promotions, roll calls, dancer selfies, etc. New management doesn't do any of that. The club has disappeared from the internet.
Unfortunately, traveling to a new club isn't an option at this time, so I'd like to try to make the best of my current club.
So my question is ... have any of you taken advertising into your own hands? Do you advertise yourself or your club online? Does it make a difference? Do you think it would be worth maintaining a Twitter account to put myself (and I guess by extension the club too) on the map? I would appreciate any insight!
