If it was for teenagers i'd be all for it, that kid is too small to get a public shaming.
"Well done. Here are the test results: You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: 'A horrible person.' We weren't even testing for that."
Well, admittedly, I laughed. I was physically disciplined as a child, I think I would've preferred a dumb haircut to being hit. That poor kid though! He doesn't look happy.![]()
No way, i'll take an ass whooping (and i got plenty) over public humiliation any day.

With social media and the fact that everyone has smart phones... public humiliation of your kids goes FAR beyond the reach it might've had 10 or 20 years ago. It's not like you humiliate them and the other kids tease them for a week until they find something new to tease someone else about and forget about whatever happened with your child anymore. If you do something like this... those pictures are never going to go away.
Maybe it isn't that bad for kids who are able to laugh at themselves or have unreasonably good self esteem... but it just seems like the sort of thing that's more likely to fuck your kid up than help them and maybe being a better, more attentive parent or enforcing more reasonable punishments like taking away the xbox or putting your child in time out might be a better solution.
