    Default Whats the best cam?

Whats he best cam to use for camming? Right now I am just using my cam built into my laptop but bitrate is at average and my round trip time is poor. I know that the bitrate is calculated by my cam but what affects my round trip time? Is that my cam or internet speed? I'm on streamate.

C920 has a controller and you can zoom in and out easily but if you want one with a remote then check this webcam http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/conferencecam

Just wanted to add that the BCC950 ConferenceCam is cheaper on Ebay and Amazon.

Your round trip time is calculated by the ping on a speed test. You can improve it by upgrading your internet service, or by not using wifi. Bitrate is not calculated by your cam. Your computer processor plays a role in that. Check your CPU. Upgrading your cam is always good, but make sure your system is running smoothly while you stream.

    My processor is : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHZ 2.40 GHZ

    Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB

64-bit operating system, x64 based processor

I also did a speed test and this was my results:

    ping: 26

    download speed: 66.32

    upload speed: 4.25

I did several test but my ping kept changing from 11-26?

I'm also still selling my Logitech Conference Cam for $150. Regular price is $249.99 on Logitech's site. It has a remote and zooms in and out, pans, and tilts. PM me if interested.

If you really want a cam with a remote then you probably should go with the Conference Cam. You can get an idea of the quality by checking out youtube test videos. Here's a few.....
