Hey! Reviving this..I just returned like my 2nd pr of Elle shoes to yandy, Idk they seemed too hard to walk in, also I think the Pleasers have more padding on the sole? (if not I'm just gonna put some on there)..I got these insteadhttp://snaz75.com/pl-lip-109.html
I prev. got a similar pr to Charlies, tried them on but they seemed to clunky for me
I hope the above ones work!

YES! My first pair was almost exactly like these, 5 1/2" heel with a 1.5" platform and slip on (a bit smaller than these, but very close). I would clean and do laundry in these when I first ordered them to get used to them. You need to build up the height gradually, but as you develop leg strength you may find that a larger platform provides extra shock absorption and comfort, I wish I could wear 7 1/2" now but my club has a small stage and I'm tall so my head is way up by the ceiling and I can't do anything on the pole.
The most important tip I remember to walking in heels is to walk like normal, heel-toe. Don't be afraid to put a bit of weight on the stiletto, girls being to afraid to and instead clunking their whole foot down at once (with the weight on the ball of your foot on initial impact instead of your heel) is what leads to the duck walk. Ankle rolls are usually when you are walking with your hips too open(again...duck walk), just point your toes straight in front of you and go! If you are familiar with ice skating: maneuvering on the toe part of a dancing heel is very similar to maneuvering on the front rocker of a skate blade, uses similar muscles, etc. If that helps. Good luck!

I guess it was the brand (Elle) but since the ones I ordered on on their way, I'll try to work w/them

I think tiny girls don't need to be as picky as those of us who are taller, more muscular, or have larger frames in general. Like, I think any girl who is 5'0" and weighs 98 lbs who is used to wearing regular heels can probably figure out how to walk in a pair of 7" stilettos from day one (perhaps not perfectly, but it would be doable). Whereas those of us who are taller / larger / heavier need to start out with shoes that have a larger surface area to walk on.

I got mine today! Tried 'em on, they don't seem too bad, & actually much better than the Ellie's I prev. bought & ret.
Edit: I looked again, @ the Charlie-recommended pair, they're 6 1/2"..I noticed, w/the taller (even 6") shoes I personally had more of a problem right away. I couldn't even stand wearing them a very short time!
The pair I linked are Pleaser 5". They do have the 1" platform. Eventually I'll work up to the 6"
& thanks for the great tips on wearing around & what to do to break 'em in!

^That's what I'm telling you, girl! Shorter shoes have shorter platforms, which makes them hard to walk in. And taller shoes have larger platforms but smaller surface area, which makes them hard to walk in.
The pair I posted are 6.5", but they are EASY to walk in.

My trick for stabilising stiletto-type heels was to use the legwarmers that have a strap going under the foot. I would wear medium-thick socks w/ my heels, put on the legwarmers not-quite-all-the-way & put the heel thru the gap, then pull the legwarmers up really tight & fasten the shoe straps outside the legwarmers. My shoes were open-toe w/ black straps, & wearing black socks & black legwarmers, in the club lighting it looked almost like boots. If you can't find this style of legwarmers, you can make your own by cutting the heel & most of the front portion out of a pair of thick athletic socks, & hemming the cut edges.
