Default Vegas strip club waitressing questions!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board & so far love all the information I'm finding on here. I've searched around looking for some answers but haven't found it all so figured I'd ask in a new thread :-)

I just moved to Vegas & want to get a job waitressing or being a cocktail server in a strip club like Spearmint Rhino or Sapphires just because of the potential to make good money & seems like it has flexible days you can work. I'm just not brave enough to be a stripper, nor go on stage at this point.

    - Is there potential to make good money waitressing at strip clubs or only as a stripper?
    - Do I need to know how to make drinks or am I just putting in orders?
    - Do waitresses need to also parade around in a bikini to get the job? (I hear this for Spearmint Rhino)
    - For anyone that's waitressed at those 2 places, can you work whenever you want? (I go out of town every couple weeks for something)

That's it for now! Any help is appreciated thanks :-)

Have you ever waitressed before? Unlike with dancing, there are a finite amount of serving positions in any given club, and in clubs with high earning potential, especially in areas like Vegas, they can be quite competitive. Waitresses also work on a schedule, so you can't actually work whenever you want in the sense that you just show up and decide to serve for a couple of hours, or even pick all your shifts. You can certainly limit your availability, but there have to be enough waitresses on shift at any given time, and the better shifts tend to go to the servers who have been there longer, so you work when you're scheduled to, as with the vast majority of other jobs. If you have no experience and limited availability, you may experience some challenges in getting hired.

In any case: generally, servers take orders from customers, give the orders to the bartender, and then bring the drinks to the patrons, collecting the cost and their tip. Often there is a tip out to the bartender too. In smaller clubs, sometimes the bartender doubles as a server, though I doubt that's the case at the big clubs in Vegas.

Honestly, it sounds like dancing would be fit with what you're looking for far better anyway. I promise it's not as scary as it seems!
