I thought it'd be a fun idea for everyone to log in what they make each shift, whether its good or bad!
Last night I made $116.

last night I made $451

Last night, I made $1,000,000,000 and tonight I'm gonna do it again.

Last night I made $3. I don't do this for money, I do this for philanthropy. Money shouldn't matter.

Last shift was rough mentally and my earning tend to reflect when I am going through something that I can't get out of my head.
I made $135 but that's my fault cause I made a few missteps like coming in later than I usually do and spending about an hour in the dressing room dodging a group of douchebag women who were videotaping the dancers on stage and trying to shake off the fact the people feel entitled to capture pics or record video without our permission.
I could have made more but I am glad I have a bill paid and came out in profit. Now for next shift - we will double this amount!

I went home with $565 Thursday.. I was gonna work last night and tonight but a MASSIVE pimple won't let me![]()

On the real though, I made $769 yesterday. Worked an 8 hour shift and honestly I was doing really badly for most of it, I couldn't get customers to buy more than a dance or two at a time and no rooms. Plus there was about a 3 hour stretch where the club was only populated with the same customers who were just nursing their drinks and not tipping at the stage or buying anything. It finally started to pick up later in the night though and I found a guy exactly one hour before the end of my shift who did a string of dances, an hour VIP and gave me a nice tip at the end. I was so grateful!

You guys get paid?!?! I pay them!!

"Sure, strange indian man, and I pay you!"
* Sorry OP, revealing income is one of those dancer superstition etiquette grey areas- generally I only tell close friends and we compare notes on why. Occasionally in the Law of Attraction thread if it's relevant to the topic.

Last shift (Thursday) I made about $350. I felt really guilty because it was super dead in the club, and half the girls left two hours early with a loss. The bouncers were making jokes about seeing a lot of me in the couch room.

This is so interesting! I swear I have such a skewed vision of what a good night's work is according to other girls. I know it's all situational and dependent on yourself but.. In my first club if I made £300 per night it was ace, then when i moved to a London club and made £600 I was stoked and some girl in the dressing room went "Omg I only made £600 tonight... Ughhhhhhh". Now I generally don't feel truly happy unless I hit $500/£500 (for some reason currency doesn't seem to matter to me?!) Last night I made $380 in my first night back at an old club which was pretty dead for about 6 hours but got busy later on.
Exactly! I'm always happy if I make at least $300. I have very few bills right now. Most of it just goes into savings..but I work alongside girls who think $300/night is chumpchange. I'll be like "I MADE $400!!" and they're like "Oh honey....well at least you made something. It's okay...it was a tough crowd tonight, blah blah blah" Lol! I also work alongside some girls who are over the moon to make $100. *shrugs*

I'll be polite and wish the OP actual answers. That said, it's a HUGE no no in stripper etiquette to ask people how much money they've made and really suggest reading everything in the Newbie thread, matters like this-and almost everything else a newbie can come up with-have been discussed thousands of times and there's amazingly helpful info. in there.

Call me the paranoid type, but I would not recommend any stripper to post her income on here, for various reasons. Please note and be forewarned that the IR$ and the N$A talk to each other.
As a side note, any stripper who posts how much she made, take it with a grain of salt. Anyone could be lying about their income. I could say I made $1 last night, or $1,000, but who would know the truth?

This is a more specific version of the "My last shift..." thread. Consider posting there instead.![]()

+1 As I've also suggested to Trena in another thread.
It's also a sign of respect to members of SW when newbies read the previous threads and stickies, we've all invested a lot of time and effort contributing over the years and I for one appreciate those new members who follow up on the suggested advice- and also the standard recommendations (reading stickies) when you join as a member.
I would hazard a guess that the most successful dancers (biggest money and emotional strength on the job) are those that do due diligence and read up on those old threads and take notes.
AND, before anyone chooses to get huffy: reading all the old threads would also give the new members some perspective on how often we are asked the same questions over the years and why it ruffles feathers at times.
$380 last night which was average for a sunday!

The only person I ever discuss my income with is my mother. Seriously. If anyone at work ever asked me how much I made, I would never, ever give a dollar amount. It's nobody's business, it breeds jealousy, and it lets everyone know who's purse to steal. I'd talk generally with a couple of girls at my old club but it was general. The girls who'd offer info about their money were almost always lying.
Funny story: I was getting dressed after my shift and another dancer was in the locker room. She told me that she'd already made $200 and was hoping for $500 "since it looks pretty slow." The manager came in as I was gathering my stuff and asked it she was ready to check in yet. Yeah...

Speaking of which tonight there was a very inquisitive n00b who asked me point blank how much money I make per night. Apparently some of the ornery vets had gotten salty with her. I just smiled and asked "Are you counting recruiting for black market kidney sales? Because if that's the case I'm averaging about 10k every two weeks. Business has been slow because of the weather."
She stayed away after that.
